Was it an optional thing for you too? Did you have it done?My hospital do it too! Had it offered with my son 4 years ago and this pregnancy.

It was a boxing day deal. Can't remember exactly what pram it was but it was a Joie one.We haven’t told our parents yet but I know my partners will be like this about things like the pram. They’re very sensible with money and I can just imagine them saying “you don’t need anything expensive or fancy though just something that does the job!”. Whereas I’ve already said to my partner I don’t want something cheap I want good quality, it’s a big thing to buy!
£400 is really good though, which one was it?
6 weeks wahooo that will fly by how exciting! How are you feeling?I’m surprised so many people declining the flu jab in pregnancy. Flu in pregnancy can be really bad news. I’m scared of getting flu and covid together. Only 6 more weeks hopefully til baby arrives![]()
I am only 11+ 3 so I really don’t know it’s on my left side very low down feels like a backflip really weird only had it a few times but it’s odd xxAre you wondering if they are movements? I had first movements at 16 weeks and they felt like this, like something rolling over low down in my tummy
I was told I wasn't allowed it from the midwifeCan’t remember if we’ve discussed this but anyone got any thoughts on getting the covid vaccine while pregnant? Don’t know if we’ll be offered it before we are all due but I’m leaning towards waiting to get it til after baby is born.
Congratulations!!!I'm having a girl!!!! We just found out so excited!! Xx
Awww how cute congratulations I am in two minds to find out! XxI'm having a girl!!!! We just found out so excited!! Xx
I'm only 5'3 myself but have found Gymshark OK lengthwise? Although I do pull them up ridiculously high as they skim over all my lumps and bumpsThanks for the legging info I am only 5ft 4 gym shark are so long for me but I will have a look on Amazon. Zara made these amazing ones called limitless contour but they don’t sell them anymore how annoying x
I have B12 deficiency, have injections once every 8 weeks and take folate tablets.Hi Ladies. Hope its OK to join. Recently found out I am expecting. Anyone here have B12 deficiency & have injections? I have megaglobastic anemia which means my folic acid levels are in my boots constantly and I can't absorb them orally which is naturally worrying. Just wondering if there's anyone else out there who has B12 injections and how they find it? I'm under my local hospitals gyne & haematology department for other reasons so I am trying to make contact with them to ensure I can keep my levels safe.
Aww thanks. I do really want one but if they’re more advised against I won’tI was really on the fence about it too but ended up having one at ~9 weeks. Really glad I did as the early days are quite long and lonely and it helped me to worry a bit less about something having already gone wrong.
I’m not sure that an ultrasound is invasive to a foetus but am sure someone else on here can correct me? I think it’s the Doppler scan which isn’t advised unless strictly necessary?
So you can be anywhere within the range?Thank you so much! That makes so much sense xxxx
I bought mine a year ago and have stretched perfectly! Thanks everyone for the recommendations I have sweaty Betty ones usually but don’t really want to buy a bigger size and then have to buy another bigger size good job I didn’t buy any from love leggings I nearly did last week! I am just very bloated everything is uncomfortable xx
I have a friend who was able to have successive c sections due mainly anxiety around vaginal birth. She is in a different part of the country, so may be trust based, but I would say if you have past trauma (which I’m so sorry to hear aboutI am TTC I’m Scotland based, have really bad natural/ vaginal birth anxiety and was told to request a C section by my therapist when the time comes. Has anyone done this? I’m worried it isn’t as easy as requesting a section. Btw I’m aware a C section is still major surgery but I have a lot issues with a natural birth due to past traumas. Would love any advice! X
Same here. My midwife apts are at my drs surgery and the toilets are shut due to covid anyway.I’m not sure about everyone else but yep my midwife gives me a pot at the end of every appt so I can just bring it with me every appt! I’m not good at doing it on command either![]()
I was thinking this last night. Hope everything went ok.Anyone heard off @littlepup ? Do we know if she’s okay?
Congratulations!I'm having a girl!!!! We just found out so excited!! Xx
Update spotting has gone seeming to just be that one wipe. Think I’ll ring the dr tomorrow and just check.High everyone slightly freaking out. I’m 6 weeks 1 day. Went to the toilet this morning and when I wiped there was pink spotting. There’s no cramping I’m so sacred. I know spotting can be common but obviously I’m associating it with the worst.
