How long did people continue to take pregnancy tests when they got their BFP? 
. I’m nearly 6 weeks and I’ve taken another one today. The line is darker too which is a good sign. It gives comfort

its just the reassurance isn’t it. Think I’m going to book an early private scan too to check all’s going well.

Otherwise people start getting worried about the line darkness ect which doesn't even always happen
Yeah made me feel better as I could see the lines getting darker, I would recommend having an early scan it made me feel so much better xx
Not wanting to focus on the horrible side but don’t forget that your body still produces pregnancy hormones for a while even if you’ve miscarried. I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks and was still testing positive for a week afterwards.How long did people continue to take pregnancy tests when they got their BFP?
I’d save your money and buy something nice for the baby later on x
I’ve been thinking about getting some cheapies, just because it feels like so long between when we found out and our private scan! My partner keeps saying “it’s because you have to give it time for the baby to start growing” which I know but I just worry about going to the scan and something bad having happened!How long did people continue to take pregnancy tests when they got their BFP?

Bless you x xI would like to tell my manager however I know she will then start to mither me about doing things quicker etc and then she will be putting my job for maternity cover. She is already starting to drive me mad recently because I don’t know if I said this before but some meetings are early and then some are late and I can’t look at my laptop for that long 8 hours is more than enough. But I am glad you were able to tell your manager I am just not ready to say. Do you feel any better after the fizzy drink?
@Kitt i am glad it went well and aww that is cute I am really interested as our dates are so close as well! I am sorry about your partners mum families are a strange thing sometimes. Do you feel better now? Xx
It’s so tough isn’t it. First the worry of getting pregnant and then the worry of the first 12 weeks and then onto the next worry. I wished I was cool and casual.

xxYep same! I said to my manager this week that I can’t wait to get to 12 weeks so I can chill out. He was like unfortunately you probably won’t chill out now for the next 18 years at leastmots so tough isn’t it. First the worry of getting pregnant and then to worry of the first 12 weeks and then onto the next worry. I wished I was cool and casual.
A test won't show if anything has happened
Hi everyone. I'm 31 weeks pregnant and starting to really hope the last weeks fly in ! Feeling very heavy and uncomfortable.
Hope its okay to ask for some advice on this.. my friend recently found out she was pregnant and going on her last period she would have been around 9 weeks last week. She went to a private scan and unfortunately they advised they could only see an egg sac and foetal pole. She was referred to clinic within NHS who told her she had either miscarried very early or was only 4/5 weeks pregnant and had miscalculated her pregnancy dates. So she is booked in for a vaginal scan this week to know for sure what's happening. Has anyone ever heard of this? I'm trying my best to support her as she is in limbo right now! But also I dont know much about it at all. Any thoughts would be helpful x

Yes, I’ve had a couple of miscarriages (now pregnant again) and that’s what happened to my first. Happy to answer any questions
Are her periods regular? If not, she could have ovulated much later than expected and that could explain the discrepancy. The 4 cycles before I got pregnancy this time were all 35days, and the one I got pregnant on was well over 60days.
I'm so sorry you've had to go through that but congratulations on your pregnancy now! I guess I was wondering what the chances are she is still pregnant and it's not a miscarriage.. I'm being positive for her but being realistic does it look like it's been a miscarriage if that's what she's been told? It was an empty sac and foetal pole visible in the scan only.
This is what I'm thinking.. as far as shes told me she can be very irregular so I feel there could be a high chance of wrong dates. You don't want to be too optimistic obviously in case the worst has happened
Fingers crossed it is just the irregularity then. I hope she gets good news at her next scan.
