I was browsing and researching early on but didn’t financially commit until Black Friday week when I’ll have been about 26 weeks (mainly did it then as there was an offer on!)
Most of the pram centres are open here but you need an appt and I don't want them to think I'm wasting their time by just looking the now but also there's some good Jan sales on 😂

Sickness is the worst it’s been so far today. Brushed my teeth and it made me throw up worse than I’ve ever thrown up in my life. I didn’t even go to the back of my throat. Sorry if TMI.

Now showering makes me sick, brushing my teeth makes me sick. Eating used to help but now it makes me sick. I’m just a useless lump at the moment haha
My friend had twin boys a few years ago and her sickness was so bad she had to be signed off work and she could barely eat 😟 think it was over by 14 weeks for her but returned again in late pregnancy, hopefully it doesn’t last too long for you, the first trimester is really the worst! 😣

Ok, I’m being so thick now so be nice. Is there a place called pram centre or places that just sell prams? Anyone recommend the best places to go?
I got mine from Lesters Nurseryworld as it is local.
Edit: got an Uppababy Vista V2 with Cybex Cloud Z car seat, shop had a Black Friday bundle so saved £200

I was offered bacon and I literally smelt it and felt awful really having to push myself to eat something but I didn’t think I had morning sickness until i realised I feel nauseous everyday maybe mine isn’t that bad it’s the thought of things flips my tummy xx also egg Mayo the smell haha I would have done an odd face too x
That’s how my sickness started. It happened so early for me though, before I was even 3 weeks pregnant. The thought of certain foods would turn my stomach. I still have that for sure but now joined by the nausea and vomiting.

Another question from me 😂😂

I’m potentially going to be booked in for a C section, I find out at 32 week scan. But i can’t get my wedding ring and engagement ring off due to swelling, does it need to come off?

I can see a second line it’s so faint though, test again in a few days but looks really promising!

Edit to say if you can buy a clear blue early result rather that the cheapies you’ll get a much better result, I was still getting faint and negative tests with Asda cheapies when I was getting clear positives with clear blue
Thank you! My OH is not convinced yet! I have some light spotting too which I thought may have been AF i don’t know when my AF is due as not had one since coming off the pill x

Thank you for clarifying obviously I didn’t even think about this until my friend mentioned it it’s scary.
Well, we talked this up. Partner has just been advised he has to isolate, work-mate has tested positive 😢😢
I don’t even want to think about it him having it, or subsequently me.
He can’t come to the ECV tomorrow.
I’ll be 38+4 by the time he’s allowed out of isolation supposing no other work mates develop symptoms.
Mum was in the supermarket yesterday, I just hope to God she doesn’t get a notification too.
Let’s just hope she doesn’t come any time soon!

@Days28 it’s a load of bollocks that scans cause any harm. They don’t. Whoever told you that should be ashamed giving false medical advise to a pregnant woman.
have you been booked in? Phone your midwife and ask why it’s so late. Assuming you want health screening they should reschedule for earlier

I saw this, very personal pics! I think I saw he was wearing a bodycam too like police do 😂 if my partner came near me wearing a bodycam while I was in labour there would just be a lovely video of me shouting at him to fuck off haha!

I feel absolutely exhausted today but I’m so early on that I don’t know if it’s actually pregnancy related! Feel like I could go and get in bed already... maybe I’m just lazy 😂
How many weeks are you? I have been like this for weeks like knackered it is defo a symptom do you crash in the afternoon? Also I am defo lazy but that has nothing to do with being pregnant 🤫 x

We've had a girl name picked out since forever that's the only one we have no back up, the boy name we loved last time we used and only had that one, now we have no boys names for this pregnancy 🙈 this pregnancy feels so different to my last one so who knows it could be a girl!! Is anyone finding out early through a private scan?? Xx
With my 2 boys my pregnancies were the same. With this one it was totally different. I know that won’t be the case for everyone though.

I have a headache too and I have started to feel a but nauseous not like I will be sick but that is the feeling like I could be sick and I only want to eat sweets no food interests me salt and vinegar crisps and boiled sweets is all I can stomach. I hope your headache goes soon as a migraine sufferer I really know how bad they can be the only thing that would cure mine is a bottle of water codine and sleep 😴 xx
Yeah I totally get that too 🤢 my partner tried to make me an egg mayo wrap and I think the look I must've given him was enough to scare him off 😂🤮

Did you do a private test or did you get offered it on NHS? I’m aware not everyone gets offered it unless risk factors
Private. They rarely offer it on the NHS. Think it cost around £40 but would rather do that than not know about it

Just want to put this out there again for anyone suffering with sickness. Pregnacare vitamins are known to make a lot of women sick. You mistakenly put it down to morning sickness.
If you’re taking them and suffering, try a few days without and see if you improve.

Generic vit D and Folic acid can be taken separately.
I was terrible on them. Xx

Are you 6 weeks ? Could be implantation bleeding tailing off, hope scan goes well tomorrow 😊
I still think it's implantation bleeding because I have had exactly the same and it's so common! But at least you have your scan tomorrow ❤
I thought implantation happened at like 10dpo or something? I had pink when I wiped around that time (3 weeks ago) and thought that was it. Am I being really thick?

Can I check with anyone doing this for the second or more time - is 3 newborn plus 3 0-3m sleepsuits ok for hospital bag (with vests as well)? On the off chance I have to stay a night or two (any longer and would get husband to bring stuff in). Just planning for covid-birth and likely limited partner visiting
I would say that's fine! With my first we didn't realise how much he would scratch himself so husband had to do a quick shop for babygrows with mittens in.

Hi guys, not sure I’m posting on the right thread but hopefully someone can help me 😅 have any of you had experience with implantation bleeding? If so what was it like? I thought I was coming on 2 days before my period was due as had pinky discharge. Lasted 2 days then stopped for a day, tiny bit of pinky discharge today but not much. Not sure if it’s implantation or if AF is being weird and gonna kick me in the ass in the next couple days just later than normal 😂

Iv actually heard this too about the pregnacare vitamins, I take those healthy start ones provided by the nhs, still had pretty bad morning sickness in the beginning though 😅
