I was keeping an eye out this evening driving home, but didn't spot anything. Will stick my head outside again before I go to bed, as some of my neighbours in surrounding villages are posting great pics.

Just spent a wonderful half our gazing at the beautiful sky- what an incredible sight- never seen aurora like this before ( and from my back garden!)

I'm so jealous of everyone seeing the aurora tonight. I'm at work tonight, busy night and won't get a proper break. Went into the carpark for a minute to see if I could see anything but no. Everyone posting their pics on Facebook. My parents neighbour posted a picture which had a bit of my parents house with it above.

I'm on the north coast of Scotland and we see them fairly regularly, but we all had to look south last night instead of north!

Does anyone know if there's a chance of seeing it again tonight? I was so tired from work I was asleep last night and I'm absolutely gutted I missed it

Yes there is still a good possibility for tonight ( maybe not as strong/vivid as last night- but last night was exceptional! ) and weather conditions were perfect with clear skies
I follow a guy called Wil Photography on Facebook and he sends out alerts via messenger when the lights are predicted ( with v good accuracy)
I also have aurora apps in my phone so I can check strength of aurora (Aurora Watch UK and Aurora alerts)

Thanks so much! I really hope I get a chance tonight. I was so tired last night I couldnt keep my eyes open and I'm absolutely kicking myself now. Would have loved to see it.

Anyone else feel like space can't possibly be real sometimes? Not in a conspiracy sense but just in awe and amazement of the fact there are so many planets, stars, and god know what else out there.

I’m hoping to go and look tonight, well grab some photos and see if they show up at least. I’ve seen the green over Iceland but never the purple! I’ll be watching Eurovision then heading out for a peep, so excited!!!!!
