I was in House last night and Brian was there swanning around having a great time. Thought it was mad he wasn’t at home with pippa as knew she was due soon but I found it even madder when I saw today she gave birth yesterday! Would he not head home to his kids?? Don’t think I’d be. Ok with my hubby heading to the clubs hours after our child was born
The traditional wetting of the baby's head

That term is so infuriating and beyond insulting. Like so many women they are made to feel less as they didn’t “push” their baby out. My own emergency c section after horrendous labor saved my little boys life, then my incision opened which resulted in a operation. Least to mention it’s ALSO MAJOR surgery. Making light of the way in which a women births her baby is disgusting the priority is a safe delivery for both mother and baby no matter how it occurs is paramount. I Suggest you consider that the next time you decide to be so ignorant
Hate that term too, it's awful and makes women feel inadequate.....c section is major surgery....I had a vaginal delivery on my 1st and c section on my 2nd and for me personally the c section was way easier on my body than the vaginal delivery, but my first was very traumatic instrumental delivery, it all depends, on my 2nd I had an elective section due to me having a PPH on my first and it was a breeze on comparison, obviously painful afterwards, but the pain of contractions for me were absolutely horrific, we do what we have to do to birth our babies safely, and that is a miracle in itself

Wetting babies head 💪😂

He is a beautiful baby and I'm so glad all went well, but I can't help but feel a little bit sorry for her not having a girl, I'd imagine she'd love a girl

My only concern would be socialising in town and risk of covid with a newborn. Just seeing latest pic of him with the baby..... I presume baby immune?

Ah lovely I was convinced it was a girl. I’m surprised (and happy) she sharing those normal pics and not the obligatory toes. Delighted for them.

I’m well jell of how good she looks also I have to admit. Not a hair out of place and she doesn’t look completely exhausted either! I looked like something the cat threw up after I had my first baby.

Agree she looks good but defo using the black and white photo to look better and probably filtered. If it was a planned section she d have missed the part that makes us looked completely wrecked out too, hours of contractions. Best wishes to her.

One of the nicest names I’ve heard for a newborn in a long time, I absolutely love it and what a gorgeous baby he is too.

I had a planned one and I still looked like tit 🤣 hehe I think I’ll use the black and white filter in all my photos this time I might look less like death. I like the name too I have to say and it’s great to see good news.
I do not however like that husband of hers he gives me the creeps. I would murder mine if he went out at the moment with Covid cases being so high we are staying home for the next few weeks til this one arrives and he certainly won’t be out wetting the baby’s head either!

Sorry my ignorance re the presumption over the planned section leading to not looking like shite but I’m sure you looked far better than you thought. We are our own worst critic!

I'm sure she's delighted to have a healthy baby and doesn't care that she doesn't have a girl. I'm sure she'd find it laughable that someone feels sorry for her for such a ridiculous reason!

Why feel sorry for her? Sorry but I despise that attitude towards mothers of boys. As a mother of two boys myself, I hate to think that people believe I might have wanted for a girl or “feel sorry for me”. I have no desire whatsoever to have a girl. I love being a mother of boys!!

If you were having a second girl they'd express the second sympathies about your lack of a boy.
People have bizarre notions about what makes other people's lives complete

It just drives me mad as I know people were privately thinking that when I had my second boy.

Sorry for your loss. And all the best with your 3rd. My mam used to always say “as long as they’re healthy that’s all that matters” and it’s so true, who cares if it’s a boy or girl!

Mom of one boy here. And now owner of 1 colostomy bag because pregnancy and my MS wrecked havoc with my bowel. So it’s just the one boy and child for us. I would take 99 more boys - just to add to our family but I can’t. You’ll find most people just want a healthy pregnancy, momma and baby.
