There's a Daily Fail article from 2018 where he addresses this.I thought that at first too. I don't watch telly so I had no clue who this guy was. The photo of him & MM seemed innocuous enough to me but he's a telly person, none of whom do I trust or admire. It saves a lot of trouble to just assume they're probably an arsehole, as it so often turns out to be the case.
Anyway I decided to poke about a bit & see what I could find out about him. I'm not gonna lie, he hasn't helped himself out over the years. Especially not saying this while he was a children's TV presenter.

Holly has played it all wrong hasn't she? Phillip is awful we all know that. And it is a fascinating moral dilemma for another time about standing by friends/family when they have done something abhorrent.
But Holly distancing herself in quite such a cowardly and quite dispassionate manner (I think), and wanting the prime This Morning position, sofa to herself, just reeks of being a two faced user. Just like now as Eamonn said, she is slithering around Allison who is flavour of the month after basically ignoring her for 13 years.
I'm not sure how she should have handled it but it certainly wasn't *this*.
