My thoughts exactly.
My point was ruth langsford for example obviously had an issue with his behaviour but cant just say she doesnt want to work with him. Other companies im sure know he had a thing with the runner on his own show (which the injunction is hiding) which isnt exactly professional but they cant not work with him just because of that even if they would rather not. That was my only point. Goodness its like the FBI on here now. I think this will be my last comment on the thread for a while as i dont care to argue over a site that is meant to be a bit of fun.

Have reading it some time.but this is my first post.English is not my first language so I apologize for any mistakes:
Have watched Uk television for few years,including This Morning,never liked Holly or Smugface.Both of them being too fake with their constant giggling and stupid concerned faces.I really start disliking him beginning of last year,he seemed more smug than usual.Then came the incident with Ruth of disrupting her and to me it look like him wanting her to know her place and to know he is the god of television.Most people seemed to think that it was not nice of Ruth to be angry because Phillip did what producers where saying him to do and Ruth knows it.After that came the Amanda story and Phillip post about him trying to be the most easy going presenter to work with,my opinion was why trying to be that,just be.He got a lot of support for his mates and most people where thinking Amanda is just bitter and could not handeld it well.Before that MM was promoted to Loose Women,I do not know why but it seems that daytime programmes to rotate their staff and it seems normal to me.He before that,if I remember correctly was working with Ruth,helping her with social media when she is at QVC and after he started working on Loose Women on that too.I have followed him before all this started and when he left TM he did a post about leaving and said that P and H where very helpful and thanked his tv parents E and R to
n that point he did not seem to have a massive issue with Schofe and he worked for him on Dancing on Ice and How to spend it well on Christmas,he did few stories on insta,he a little bit before that,started using less insta,doing less stories,showing less of him.Then He did not worked with P and he stopped working with Ruth on QVC aswell,problaby because Ruth sister died.When the article came abou Ruth making a complaint about P,it very quickly was tought to be because of him interrupting her.I think it was about something else,and we still do not know why or indeed did the complaint happend.Then Jason said that P and H are fake and where there is smoke there is fire.My thoughts where there is smoke then there might be a fire about him being problematic and fake.When the NTAs came he wanted to show that they are a big happy family and everything is fine between everybody.Ruth did not wanted to fake the happy family and showed it very clearly and most of public seemed to be on her side,and I think he wanted to take R down,he probably forget that she is being on the industry for a long time and probably have allies in high places and E does do and P aswell.So all of them have some sort of protection on high places and we ofcourse do not know what their managment think and I assume they do not want to lose any of them.H is def in P corner,but because she feels she owes that to P,and she does not want to loose him because then everybody thinks she have a job because of her husband.Same loyalty seems to have Rylan with E and R,he always mention them on interviews.Some other people seem to think they owe their careers to certain people and E and R are many of them including Emma Willis and Davina Mcgall.P does not to be many of those stories and H does not either and P only on H stories.Do I think P is a groomer or pedalo No I Don Not,is there something strange,weird yes.And before MM went to LAther was on his stories a girl who he had datenights.It does not maybe mean anything,just sharing.

I genuinely think he sees his family as ‘The Firm’ a bit like the royals. Most of us know these staged ‘family’ photos are a desperate PR attempt to persuade us, members of the viewing public that he is a family man. Why the rest of the family seem to dutifully appear is anyone’s guess, if my husband suddenly announced he was gay after many years of marriage I wouldn’t be standing smiling beside him that’s for sure. However, as he needs the family man image for the show he presents there may have been trade offs, Steph may have got the house, etc if she agrees to a number of photos. The daughters appearing constantly is an interesting one, we know one manages him through his agency so it’s in her interests that this ‘family man’ image is seen as such. They may of course be there as support for their mother. None of these photos seem real to me at all, just very staged, very forced. They also seem to pop up after any press stories of him staying in his new flat, being involved with a businessman etc. For many of us with grown up kids who have all left home, it’s difficult enough getting everyone together never mind doing a staged photograph which is then made public. He’d be better off in my opinion lying low and stop forcing the issue. Oh and also stop contacting our teenage sons online.

I caught a bit of This Morning today and it was a flashback segment to 10 or so years ago when Holly and Phil went looking for Mushrooms in the woods with Gino. At one point Gino is holding both their hands as they’re both blind folded presumably as they didn’t know what they were going to be doing, once the blindfolds were off Phil says something like “it was lovely to hold your hand Gino” he’s been hiding in plain site the entire time. I bet there are loads of little clips of him outing himself like that, probably got a right kick out of it knowing the public were (largly) oblivious the arrogant twat.

Also, we know he's been contacting teenage boys late at night , and it's widely held to be true had a relationship with a very young man he " mentored", a very un-equal relationship.
Sleazy and un-ethical if not grooming.
I have no sympathy for the man.
He could have slept with as many men as he could as far as I'm concerned, but keep away from teenagers who are beholden to you.
All this is compounded by his "avuncular family man image" in which he frequently holds forth on rights and wrongs to viewers..

Phil got very lucky really - first, the Barrymore documentary then Caroline Flack and then Corona, all that with a Parisian Valentines Happy Families trip in between. You want one diversion then three come along at once and all mention of your mentoring a catholic ex-head boy, pfff like that, it was gone.

I just came on here to say exactly the same. He’s such a tosser. It’s never been ok to flirt between your shag pad and your marital home during lockdown.

He did this around the time of Yewtree too. A few minor rumours started coming out so he stopped hanging out with his teenage daughters friends and got really aggressive about “putting all these dirty men in prison”. My take is he’s an odd, shady man who has been lying to his family for decades and I wouldn’t put anything past him

I think his wife knew.
She had a very luxurious lifestyle which was financed by him and his wholesome public image.
So, she was happy to play along - until now, because before, she wasn't looked upon as a fool or a victim.
Now everyone knows, she probably can't keep up a pretence any more.
Of course this has been going on since the dawn of film and tv.
Old Hollywood under the studio system had whole departments covering up the stuff their contracted stars got up to.
They organised staged "dates" for them. If a star was gay, the studio sent them out on dates with people of the opposite sex and tipped off the Press.
These departments were employed to hide anything which might have made the public turn against their cash cows.
And gay stars were persuaded to marry a person of the opposite sex.
When TV was invented, they just followed suit.
No one cares about a star being Gay.
What they do care about is a star pretending to be something they aren't.
And they care when that person is a Diva who is horrible to people in the workplace because they have the power to get people hired or fired, and behave in a nasty way just because they can.
But just as Phillochio elbowed out Fern because she had started to lose public support, in time, someone will elbow him out too.

Maybe if Holly is getting fed up with him things will start to change.
She's on equal pay. She has a husband with influence. She is seen as an asset to ITV. She's still young.
If she starts to make noises about moving on and if her reasons for wanting to move include being annoyed by her This Morning co-host then ITV might retire him off and give her a new co-host.
It could happen.

I guess this is the result when you have consistently being staying up until 2-3am - waiting for parents to be asleep before contacting their teenagers.
I think it is undeniable now that he has a problem with alcohol. Shows all the classic signs of alcoholism, including making jokes about alcohol itself.

But then you could argue that all celebs are like that. From working in tele I’ve seen the differences between people on and off camera and how they speak to crew members. You can usually tell how much of a dick someone is with how they treat the most junior members of staff.Fuck that. I don’t give a shit about what his sexual preferences are I give zero fucks. I don’t care about people’s sexual orientation either. For me this is about how he’s got away with this shit through good PR. And this is a classic example of how money and power makes people like him think they’re invincible.

He has his own London flat where he goes for meets with And who’s to say they didn’t get together for PR anyway, look at the Beckhams. Their marriage is a sham and they’re a great British export.
