OMG I saw him once on The Jonathan Ross show what a twit pissing about behind the set, not letting the HOST get a word in, Jonathan looked pissed off and I don't blame him.
I say well done Peter for not letting the host get a word in as I can't stand to watch Jonathan Ross Chat Show as he constantly interrupts his guests and never lets them finish their stories.

I also don't believe the story about Sally Lindsay as her and Peter are very good friends in real life.

Never found him funny. An ex and some friends dragged me to see him do stand up years ago and it was the same tit jokes about his nans snacks in the cupboard.

also some guy ‘kicked off’ in the audience and he pulled up a chair on stage and heckled him and got security to remove him

googled it and it turned out the same had happened in some other shows of his so seemed a plant.

Not nice if he/ his family are ill though

I thought he looked unwell in the recent pics, and there seemed to be a large linear bruise on the top of his head.
It's not necessarily him that's got a life changing condition though, I know from experience that caring for a critically ill family member messes you up. Whenever my child (who was seriously poorly in the past) goes into hospital (again) I don't sleep, my thyroid levels go all over the place, my periods go constant and I get anaemic, fast. And I've been on BP medication and intermittent beta blockers for SVT for years.
Would I work if I didn't have to? Not a prayer. I'm not even FT now, partially because it works better having other children to care for, but partially because my own health wouldn't allow that after 17 years of the rollercoaster of "oh yes, we're fine" "No we're not, regional specialists here we come."
I don't want to come across depressing, we have had some lovely holidays and day trips over the years and a lot of laughs.
I'm just saying theres a hidden cost for carers who are waiting for it all to go wrong if you see what I mean.
If it's something like that for Peter Kay then I pat him on the back for cancelling the tour.
Whatever his personality may or not be in public. Some things are sacred and come first.
No matter who it is that is poorly, I wish him and his family well, with all the luck in the world.

I have a family member with a close friend who was a part of Phoenix Nights, the leukemia rumour is unfortunately true :(

We live near him and see him quite often. If we're going off looks and appearances I'd say it isn't himself who is ill, but who knows? Illness can be invisible.

What I will say is he isn't very approachable. I've seen him be quite rude and cutting when recognised. Before he cancelled his tour and since. It's a bit of a facade that he's this jolly, down to earth guy. In reality he's quite mean and grumpy. Then again, I'm not famous so perhaps he's just fucked off with strangers shouting "garlic bread" at him in Sainsburys 😂
Years ago I was working behind the bar at a wedding he attended. I echo that he is not the jolly, jovial figure you see on TV. Many colleagues commented that he was grumpy.
Saying that, it's quite common for comedians to be quite the opposite to their stage persona.

I’m surprised he hasn’t lost a lot more weight then?

I still don’t believe it’s him who is ill. I’ve heard it’s his wife as she had cancer previously, so makes me think it may now be terminal with him taking so long off.

On the recent photos of him, he looks bloated like hes put quite a bit of weight on 🤷‍♀️

If he’s on steroid treatment for an illness he will look bigger and bloated?

Thing is, when it comes to rumours like this, there’s always someone with a friend of a friend who will corroborate it.

The thing about the leukaemia rumours two years ago was that he was literally supposed to be at death’s door or already dead and there was going to be announcement ASAP... well that was obviously a load of crap...

I heard from a friend of a friend who knows his family that the tour was cancelled because of his own health. Leukaemia apparently. 😥
This is true, we were in a cab in London, the cabbie had had PK's agent in before us, he confirmed PK has had leukaemia, poor guy, love him and I hope he is getting better 😘

I dont believe for one minute that his agent would divulge highly personal information to a cabbie!
