I think both Pete and Jowita think the world of each other in a platonic best friends kind of way. They have very different values and morals from what I can see I like Maura, but thought her and Pete together was always going to end up a car crash, far too similar in personality . I don’t feel too sorry for him either, he could seek therapy and take some responsibility for his actions, but he doesn’t.
They seem to be very comfortable being tactile with each other very quickly. Jowita is an angel and Pete better treat her well.Already obsessed with him and Jowita and hope they fall in love. That’s all
Funny enough I just said the exact same thing, they’re being really obvious who they want out this year. Knowing Pete is giving his everything and them treating him like a comedy act doesn’t sit well with me
Yes! I noticed this. It's overkill and really annoying. One of their recent episodes is a 23 minute Costa ad. Like, yeah you've got to make your money but surely not at the expense of the listener's experience?!
But just wanted to say if you did like Pete’s solo manmade podcast he did another solo podcast around lockdown time called ‘Just a little prick’ and I honestly think it’s one of the best things he’s ever done. It was about tattoos and he would speak to a different guest each week about why they have the tattoos they have etc. I found it randomly when the Staying Relevant pod first launched and I really wish he had kept it going because it was so different and much deeper than you would expect. If you are a fan it’s definitely worth a listen x
i get that vibe too. He’s way too in his own head to let someone as nice as jowita in. He’d probably end up hurting her. She’s perfect though. He always seems to go for the same kind of girls, the reality tv filled with drama types and jowita is a ray of sunshine. They definitely have chemistry though.
Olivia is the worst. She grew up a spoiled boarding school girl who is soo manipulative. She plays a boss girl role that twists the truth to her favor. Her minions believe anything she has to say. She definitely is smart and knows how to control a narrative. A complete hypocrite that will call out others while she will be doing the same thing. Fame hungry and a drunk. Lots to admire
