Hello everyone
Not posted in this thread before, so sorry if I’m repeating all that’s been said before
I’ll be 42 in November and I seriously think I’m suffering from perimenopus.
I now have the worst fatigue and it feels all the time. I can have a full night sleep and wake up with the shakes and feel exhausted, or I could sleep for 3-4 hours and feel the same. I have slumps in the afternoons and early evening where I could fall asleep standing up. My brain fog is worsening. I can walk in a room and forget why I’m there, go to do something and in a split second forget what I needed to do, forget what I’m wanting to say mid conversation, My latest one is I can’t remember / could tell anyone my current mobile number, but the one I had 15 years ago no problem! I feel like I have dementia.
I have palpitations, body aches, headaches, rage, short tempered, no energy, I now can’t drive on busy roads/ motorways as I’m too nervous, lost interest in alot of things , joint pains….
I had blood tests 2 years ago when I went to my GP, but everything come back normal and I never was given a return appointment to discuss further.
I feel the fatigue and brain fog are the main things that have worsened since then, but feel like it’s going to be battle to have a GP even listen to me
I feel like I’m falling apart
I could have written this last year. Turned out it was the meds I was on for migraines. I stopped taking them, got on the HRT patches and life completely changed. I also have underactive thyroid, it might be worth getting that checked out. Also, I'm 42 and definitely had peri symptoms from about 38/39 but I didn't realise until last year that was the issue.
Good luck in finding something that helps you.
