I had that. I smelt really bad, I wasn’t unclean but I just had a bad odour which made me really paranoid, especially as I was overweight aswell.I scanned through this thread and couldn't find anything about my symptoms. I'm 47, and the last few months I am smelly. It is really getting me paranoid. Not every day, But usually after lunch, I noticed that there is a smell of me. I started taking sage tablets and they helped at the beginning, But not now.
It could be hormonal and I’ve also seen some things on those TV Doctor shows where people have conditions where certain foods exacerbate a body odour but you could try washing your body in acnecide. I’ve seen it recommended by some dermatologists as a good way of killing body bacteria that worsen body odour. I’m not implying you’re not clean, just that it’s worth trying everything. Hope it clears up.I scanned through this thread and couldn't find anything about my symptoms. I'm 47, and the last few months I am smelly. It is really getting me paranoid. I walk a 2.2 mile round trip each morning to school and back, involving big hill. I’m about the fattest I’ve ever been. I’m always heavy as I’m pretty muscly but I’m in bigger clothes than I used to be and don’t feel great. I don’t do diets as focusing on food just makes me eat more but my diet isn’t bad, so i guess a lot of it is hormonal. Is anyone really struggling with their weight? I can’t manage to shift even a pound, my job is very active, I got walking about 2/3 times a week, I’ve even cut my alcohol intake down & not losing anythingI feel large & bloated all the time, and apart from starving myself I can’t think of anything else to do
Yes I’ve been taking vitamin d for ages. I didn’t know that it can affect your thyroid, although I got bloods done about March/April and everything was fine. I’ll give the digestive enzymes a try see if that helps. ThanksI walk a 2.2 mile round trip each morning to school and back, involving big hill. I’m about the fattest I’ve ever been. are you taking any vitamin d? It can affect your thyroid function to be deficient. Digestive enzymes can help with the bloating maybe.
Yep! It’s so frustrating. I am trying so hard but barely lose anything. I will say though since I’ve gone on yet another diet my bloating isn’t as bad as that was really getting me down as I looked 9 months pregnant. But I’m so disappointed with how slow the weight is coming off and then I lose motivation. Is anyone really struggling with their weight? It's tougher than ever. But basically, as we get older, our metabolism slows down, we need fewer calories. If there is a diet that always served you well in the past, if doesn't mean it will work today. Is anyone really struggling with their weight? Walking is great for you, but they do say that "abs are made in the kitchen". Think about it: a 5k run only burns around 300 calories. The best way to lose weight is to actively seek a calorie deficit. I use MyFitnessPal and track everything. And so you know (read it and weep) when I want to lose weight, I need to consume 1200 calories a day. And I am extremely active: In the mornings, I run 3 times a week, and I strength train the other four. Plus I have a dog I walk twice a day, and in the evenings, I go to yoga 3 to 4 times a week. I need around 1500 calories to maintain my weight, even with that level of activity. In the past, I could lose weight on 1500 calories and no exercise.
