I'm just going to go back, they give me stronger cocodomal for sciatica than they did this. Thanks I was put on HRT patches so not too bad so far.
I been to a&e over the years and they just give me strong painkiller and sent me home, I think the cysts i Had came and went and were the most painful before they burst.
When I was eventually referred to hospital they said the only way for a proper look was the laparoscopy, wasn’t keen but so glad I got one as literally overnight I have had no more symptoms after going back and for for years.
Can you maybe just phone surgery and ask to be referred to gynaecology dept? Sometimes easier to ask over the phone but keep askiing its your body and you know when something isn’t right.
Even if the pill stops my bleeding I don't feel as though we've found the cause. I was ridiculous waiting for 4 months of bleeding to pass before I went to that initial appointment 3 months ago but she was adamant that it wasn't the menopause. I've had a couple of scans and now she's adamant it is. The bloods they took didn't even look at my hormone levels or my iron. But they're not going to redo them because I'm on the pill now
I told them that even when the bleeding subsides for a day or so I still have the pain. Which is worrying to me.
Like you, I don't particularly want these invasive tests or procedures but at the same time I want to know what's going on.
I'm going to leave it until weekend to see how I go and if the bleeding or pain is still here I shall go back. I'm utterly fed up with it. Its literally taking over my life
Sorry to be a misery guts but I knew I'd get a sympathetic ear here because I honestly feel as though I'm going mad
