There was a post on there yesterday from some bored middle aged housewife asking for advice for her (and I quote) “wealthy friend” who had an issue with flies in her massive renovated farm house. Second hand embarrassment.Nah I left that group months ago. Full of cunts that page. I saw it all over instagram and the cringeworthy sucking up to the instructors with tagging the life out of them in 3,000 selfies and group photos of the sameI bet the instructor’s deep down hate that
Personally I think this was well overdue and the app has always been cheap and the content has grown and improved significantly. Other apps are higher still than this new increase and if I was an app user I’d absolutely have no issues with the riseAnyone else get this today, if you have the app from December you’ll only be allowed 3 classes a month unless you upgrade to double the price!
The US one is even more obnoxious. “WHY WONT PELOTON HURRY UP WITH DELIVERING MY SECOND BIKE TO MY SECOND HOME.”I joined the UK facebook group but my god I'm going to have to hide it. I forgot how irritating people on fb are!
"WHY HAVE THEY DONE A COLLECTION WITH ADIDAS I DON'T LIKE ADIDAS"
soz they didn't ask for your permission Steve xoxo
Mine comes on Friday....I’ll be watching the clock until that van arrivesMy bike comes tomorrow OMG I am so excited!it was totally inspired by this thread. I love spin classes and have really missed them. It’s the only exercise I have ever actually enjoyed, I’m such a music-based exerciser!
I’d love to know of anyone’s favourite euphoric rides, that have really amazing building music? I’m definitely going to try the pop stuff but I do love house music which I’ve heard is less prevalent.
Does anyone use their own music while following a class?
Yes and the 'I'm having my kitchen done out should I get grooves next to the sink' alongside a photo of their ridiculously huge house.Does anyone belong to the UK Ladies Peloton Facebook group?
Jesus they’re a bunch of inept moaners. Every second post is “I have this mundane problem that I refuse to take any practical steps to resolve. How can I make the other person/company/my child/my husband fix it?”
I used to think it was quite good craic albeit very middle class, but it’s become Mumsnet.
you’re gonna love it, did it live, will probably redo at the weekend!Off now to do the Lewis Capaldi ride, I was kind enough to allow husband to do it live and it’s killing him to keep all the funny bits to himself, best go before he spoils it for me!
Seen similar with some girl who lives in Wales to see Susie Chan. A friend told me that she and her boyfriend drive up occasionally to give her gifts as she’s an admin on the fan page. She’s clearly a desperate case as she’s been talked about on pages for deleting rides for her milestones so she can get another shoutout and even once apparently changed her birthday a week earlier to get a shoutout message as there were no classes on the dayHave you seen the video giving Leanne presents? Rick Astley tickets. It’s so weird. I like Leanne. but it’s odd, so, so odd the people thinking she’s their friend. Or desperate to be her friend. Hate to upset you huns, she probably could get VIP for free if her management made a call. Peloton really does have an strange inner cult. Are we odd just doing a class and moving on?
I know, I just lack the brain power when RHOBH is on - I am on that bike to find out about Kyle Richards’ love life and nothing elseI suppose that’s kind of the point of ithe Lanebreak game though isn’t it. I like it as I find it a good distraction having to concentrate on changing lanes!
Leanne's Spice Girls ride is an instant serotonin hit for me!What’s everyone’s favourite ever ride? I loved Leanne’s Pete Tong ride, I’m sure I got my PB on it. Someone on one of the pages said they loved Cody’s Britney ride which I need to do.
Hope you love it ! I’ve had mine for 2 years and I’m on it 4x a week still. Was definitely money well spent. £500 is a bargain!I'm so excited to be getting a peloton bike tomorrow! My neighbour is selling me theirs for £500. I've been using the app since march and using various other spin bikes at the work gym so I'm looking forward to having the full experience and stats.
It’s just the worst. It feels like they’re all trying to out do each other with who has the bigger house, whose kid goes to private school, who goes on the most expensive holidays. It’s so fake. When the group was first created it was lovely and was actually focussed on peloton. The rich narcissists are in the UK Ladies Peloton facebook group, it's a bit of an eye opener at times!
I have the Life Fitness IC5 which I use with the Peloton app. It’s good in that the resistance on it runs 0-100 which is the same as Peloton so when doing the classes from the app you can match what they say. I don’t know if it feels the same on both bikes but I shouldn’t have thought it’s far away and I sometimes just go on how easy or hard I’m finding a resistance anyway. I‘ve heard that BodyMax bikes are good and I think they’re below £500 but I’ve not tried one.Can anyone reccommend a decent spin bike that doesn’t cost as much as the Peloton? Im looking to buy a bike and use the app with it x
The thought of a 45 min ride is too much, was going to do a 15 min one then a 30 min kendal emo one after but then had shit things happen after work so shottd vodka insteadRobins tabata programme is good! Some 20 and 15 minute classes, haven’t tried a 45 minute one though![]()
