Anyone else think the 6 min ep was absolutely shite and not funny at all? Just me? If it was a pilot/trail for a new pod I’d be giving it a swerve.
I didn’t want to say as the others here seemed very excited but I was totally underwelmed and zoned out after the second declaration. If it was improv (and half the length), it may have been funny but it was too scripted to work.

Things can only get better….

My dear slop, I have a lot of feelings and I don’t know what to do with any of them. Thanks, I think?

Having just listened to the latest vibe Mail (great feature, would use again) I not only loved JR laughing at his own jokes but also I’m 100% confirmed as a ‘John and Lou are shagging’ truther.

Glad you had a good time! Do you think the format is TV worthy?! That's what they seem to be going for at the moment... would love to seem them on our screens

He wouldn't have lasted very long if he did! Not gonna lie, I feel slightly cheated from having to put up with it on the show last week haha
I went to see him on tour recently and he did stutter then too more than I had noticed previously, maybe it can’t be helped in certain situations. He was really good though!

@DinoCharge you might like it here. Our very own skip, some might say.

Those isolation tapes are some of the best podcasts ever made. Are they still a good listen 'post' covid?
Yes absolutely 😉. As I've heard them all before I find it strangely comforting listening back, as it reminds me of the good bits of lockdown (appreciate I'm privileged to be able to describe part of it as 'good') - the camaraderie and 'all in this together' spirit. And even the collective 'this is utter shit isn't it' feeling. They were a highlight on crap days and a bonus on good ones. And they're funny, so even on that basis alone, I'd say they're worth a listen. I do inhale podcasts somewhat greedily, though and normally have three or four on the go at the same time, so it depends on how much time you have.

I'm relistening to My Dad Wrote a Porno - my god, it's just so funny. I think I'll just listen to them on a loop until the end of time 😂

ETA: it's podcast day woop woop!
