I remember reading her posts on Facebook and in her book about how the whole town seemed to be hating on her and J (before I knew of the affair, obv). Totally agree. You have to look at your life if the same pattern keeps repeating and wonder why. I have had to do that. I realised my anxiety and attachment issues relating to my childhood made my expectations in friendships unrealistic and I dealt with it and I continue to deal with it and I’m younger than Rachel.
