I thought water polo was played on horseback until a few years ago 🫣 Did think it was unfair on the horses.

There’s too much! Discovery says you can watch on up to 4 screens but it’s only letting me use 2 and I need MORE. Skating, canoe slalom, gymnastics. I’m not even a sporty person but I want to watch everything I can 😂

edit, oh and Judo!
Is it really four screens? I tried to get on my TV as well as phone, and the Discovery Plus TV app has been buggered ever since. No feed actually loads, just the spinning icon of death.

Surely you would think that coverage is something that is coordinated though and the controller having actual discussion around ensuring they have main rights over the performances of their own country? Otherwise what’s the point?

When I tried to stream on 3 devices at once, a message came up saying I was using too many. But when I googled, they say you can use up to 4. Maybe that’s on some kind of premium plan though. My app isn’t broken though, I can use 2 screens at the same time but that’s it.

Whoever is in charge of the coverage on bbc needs sacking.
Discovery (Warner Brothers) bought all the TV rights to the Olympic Coverage. The BBC just get whatever crumbs are left over and even then that's only because there is a government mandate for the BBC to show The Olympics as it is deemed cultural important.

The men’s street staking final was so fun to watch. Loved it. Yuto looked so overwhelmed during the award ceremony 🥹

It seems like the only way to see the team GB guys in gymnastics is to use the Olympics app to see who is next on each individual section, and then find the correlating stream on discovery+ app, they have separate streams for each discipline. Weird that they aren’t showing GB at all on the general stream.

The gymnastics scores seem to change a lot after each rotation. Team GB have gone from 1st to 5th to 3rd. Hoping we finish with a medal 🤞🏻

I get both sides of it. To me it's easy to come down on something like this but it feels hollow when there is an actual convicted child rapist allowed to compete after assaulting a 12 year old British girl. I don't want token actions like this, I want better.
The child rapist shouldn’t be there but that’s not something Eurosport are in control of, they are in control of not tolerating dinosaurs.

Not a fan of Tom Daley, but watching the diving anyway. 😂
Nor am I but really glad they did well!

I can't believe how many empty seats there are at some of the events.

Insane. I don't understand it, although I heard it was really awkward to get tickets???

The mens gymnastics is amazing, I was watching the women's Archery earlier, amazing!!

Is anyone else wishing the countries names were all clearly stated like Great Britain and the USA are?? I find it confusing sometimes.

Why is Matt Baker commentating for men’s gymnastics? Is he a former gymnast?

He was a gymnast during his childhood, as far as I can tell that’s the only link!

edit sorry didn’t see someone already responded! Didn’t get the refresh

yes! (always surprises me too) - he’s commentated for the bbc for years for it, i think he was north of england champion as a teenager but gave it up.

edit: sorry now you’ve got three responses on this 🤣🤸🤸🤸🤸🤸

Absolutely humbling watching these games.

"Still sprightly and one of the best in the game at the old and haggard age of 31 years"

Me, a 31 year old who just slammed a Taco Bell and won't be moving until bed time:

I like to tell myself it's because they started the sport young and it's a training age thing, not an actual age thing. (I'm delusional).

The only way I was able to find them was by going to each individual stream on Discovery+. Like floor, rings, pommel etc depending on where team GB was at the time. We’ve had no coverage at all on the general streams.
