I always took the sexy and relatable thing as a joke and that it was actually a poke at how unrelatable they could be? Or how contrived some people are about trying to seem relatable?

I see RB has been dumped from his Sunday evening radio 2 show by the Beeb. Josh in the meantime was a fantastic stand-in for Romesh on Saturday… karma…

Bit of a strange take on it. He's touring so can't commit, the tours been planned for ages and has undoubtedly been planned around his radio commitments. He's hardly been dumped by the BBC.

Awful pod Friday!

Has Rob got adhd ? He talks over Josh CONSTANTLY ( yesterdays of was particularly bad)
Josh’s whining gets very jarring (when you can hear him speak ) I turned it off tbh

The thing is, it never used to be like this so if it’s adhd that wouldn’t be the reason that it’s only become an issue more recently. I think it’s just Rob’s ego has really grown over the last couple of years and is now a bit out of control.

Them having money and the lifestyle that comes with it doesn't bother me at all, I happily listen to tales from their holidays because ultimately kids are kids and families are families - that's where we can all relate. Doesn't matter if your kid is being a tit in a tent on a soggy field in the UK, or being one in a luxury villa in Marbella - it's always going to be stressful in some way.

I genuinely love them but as someone else said, they need to check their work/life balance privilege. The majority of their audience are undoubtedly working parents and with the exception of the teaching profession don't get to spend all of their kids school holidays together (and teachers have to deal with children so they deserve their holidays )

They're very well paid, get to pick and choose what work they take and WHEN they take it. If that means they work non-stop for a month or two then so be it. Other people work non-stop shifts and don't get the bonus of a long luxurious summer off work.

Lads. Give your heads a wobble.

I enjoyed this ep too, I prefer it when they have their pals on, feels more natural and conversational rather than an interview!

I thought the same thing about the gifted Everglades visit….no mention of it on Lou’s insta. Absolutely can’t stand it when people aren’t transparent about things like that.

I’ve gone off Rob a bit too recently. I don’t really know how to word it properly without it coming across as nothing more than jealousy, but I promise it is more than that
Obviously it’s no secret to me, or anyone else, that both money and a bit of fame opens certain doors for you, which is great, well done you, make the most of the opportunity.
I just think that there’s a way of doing it that’s a bit more mindful than him and Lou seem to be at the moment.

I also find it very strange that he thinks that a child owning a pony turns them in to a prick - yet doesn’t seem concerned about the privileges he does give his daughters…

Just listened to today, I so wanted to give Ivo a huge hug, he’s obviously still finding it deeply difficult to co-parent his daughter. Although in the second half of the interview some bits made me laugh out loud, especially the bit about having a medium hard life but only being brought up to deal with an easy life

Josh is brilliant on radio 2 right now.
Total natural, much more so than Rob or Romesh are on the radio.

I absolutely loved the way she disagreed with breast feeding being free too, your time and effort aren’t free!
I say this as someone who struggled with breastfeeding, and am totally at peace with switching to formula after a few weeks.

I liked the Vogue Williams one! She seems like a nice person and easy to get on with. When she was saying her book was called something to do with her face, and asking Josh to name something on her face, I thought she was talking about her mole! I wonder if that’s what Josh was thinking too!

So bored this week I didn't finish. Personal preference but generally speaking I find the sports guests have been quite bland and Rob goes into overdrive trying to impress them.

Whilst I get all points raised - Regardless how much money someone has, doesn’t mean they will be happy and fulfilled in life and doesn’t mean that she wants to palm her children off to strangers.
She gave up working to look after the girls as Rob earned enough money. But she is also more than just a mum.
Maybe as I can sympathise in that I have found it so hard to find myself again since having a baby. (Sadly not a millionaire though)

And me too. He seems to have an underlying jealousy of Josh - his house, living in London, never lets him talk about his stuff. I hated his belittling of Josh today, seemed to interrupt him so much. He did say he was extremely tired but he only wants to talk about himself and Josh has a much more entertaining and interesting life in my opinion. Josh can never finish a tale. I'm still waiting to hear about his Michael McIntyre experience but Rob shut him down.

I think Josh is a very natural tv and radio presenter, much more so than Rob. He also comes across really well in interviews.

I genuinely would be incredibly surprised if anything bad ever crawled out of the woodwork about Josh. He seems just a really nice chap who's probably never been in trouble, or said anything really offensive. Rob I can imagine has done/said some things that could be mistrued. I may be wrong of course!

Interesting Rob said he wasn’t going to go on about Josh’s kitchen (or lack of it) because Lou says it stresses her out. I’m thinking we know Lou reads her so has she told Rob to cool it about Josh house/moving etc?

i was always the default parent for quite a few years. Very different lifestyle from the Becketts. For instance we didn't have the means to pay for anyone to collect from school and do their tea etc, we didn't have any supportive family around, we didn't have the cushion of wealth, we didn't have several 5-star holidays a year and weekends away with girlfriends. We just lived a very quiet life surviving on not a huge amount of a money.

Sorry if that sounds sour - i don't' mean to be or to put Lou down. I just don't know if some women realise what a position of privilege they speak from.

That’s pretty much how I feel - I’m the default parent, but without the ability to not work, live a fairly lavish lifestyle AND time away from the children, both as a couple and alone. And I’m not alone in that. I don’t see what she’s trying to do?
and she absolutely IS riding on her husbands coat tails, I wouldn’t get a book deal if I went to an agent with the same idea.
Can’t say I judge her for that though.

Does anyone else think Stacey Dooley really hams up her accent or is that just me being a horrible person? I do like her generally, but that accent is so strong. I don’t know anyone from Luton so maybe I’m wrong.
Really enjoying the ‘other parent wankers’ segment in today’s podcast . This is what I’m here for Rob, not tips and advice!
