Rose's mum being around a lot made more sense when Josh mentioned that his own grandmother used to live with him.

I did, however, wonder why Rose's mum didn't keep their daughter so they could both take their son to the hospital.

They're with another family (Lou had her friend in a pic and referenced the Stitch popcorn bucket not being her problem as it was her friend's daughter's) so maybe they're in a villa together.

Has Rose passed her driving test yet? They will struggle without London public transport. It will be easier for them to get to their holiday home though!

He said that they don't benefit from the tube where they were in London and that the school commute was up to 40 minutes (from 20) because of a permanent change to a local road layout.
