I’ve really gone off Rob recently, used to find him really funny but he’s such a different person? Still listen to the pod because it is really funny
I think for me it's a combination of being mean to Josh and continuing even when it's clear Josh has had enough and his babbling about a particular topic like he's being really insightful and nobody else has thought it before, plus expecting complete silence when he's doing that but never allowing anyone else to talk without interruption.

‘No fake perfume from China, no sex in your vagina’ 🤣 🤣
Really enjoyed the last couple of pods. I felt like they both got on really well and had a good laugh.
I really felt for Rob, talking about his mental health issues around this time of year. I thought it was honest and authentic, not fake at all. Quite brave of him to be so honest about it really. Hopefully it will help people going through similar.
The ADHD symptoms in both of them are next level! Especially Josh saying ‘well I either do it right now or I forget about it completely’ 😆 totally relate.

Maybe I’m a ruined cynic but I didn’t find it depressing - just a bit of silly fun!

If they’d been on with Rose and Lou talking about it Christmas stress then people would’ve said “what do they know about stress!”

I'm only 7 minutes in but my thoughts thus far:

1. I don't want this episode about theme parks... I definitely don't want another separate episode about theme parks. There's plenty of information out there for people who want advice on visiting theme parks.
2. I think they need to stay in their lane a bit, all the talk of more serious episodes and inviting experts on etc, there are other parenting podcasts out there, I enjoy this one because it's silly and funny and talks about all the comical mundane shit that happens when you have kids.

Maybe I'm alone in that feeling but again, if I wanted quality information on IVF I don't think my first thought would be Rob and Josh.

Every single story of that part of the holiday should have been marked as gifted and I don’t remember seeing it 🤷‍♀️
The whole thing should have been marked including the podcast, because I guarantee it wasn’t just the villa that was “gifted” - she has tagged the Kissimmee tourism board. Nothing winds me up more than this shady stuff. At least be bloody honest instead of you bleating on about what an expert you are on the holiday, it’s clearly all been put together and paid for by someone else!

I don't view Rob or Josh as sexual beings, so the idea of them sexing Josh up has made me feel a bit weird 😂

I have to start by saying I love this pod, it’s my favourite one by far. But I’m starting to get a bit aggravated by how often they both complain about being so busy and stressed and tired, as though this is caused by something completely out of their control. They’re busy and stressed because they’re greedy and say yes to every single opportunity that comes their way, and are making millions of pounds per year because of this. They could easily scale this back probably by half, and still do the pod, a couple of tv shows, a couple of live shows, and still make a fortune.

And Rob must have said "Kissimee" about 5 or 6 times during the podcast which must have been part of the deal too.
Very underhand and not clear that it was advertising when now we realise it absolutely was.
He also makes a point of saying "we love holidays, that's what we choose to spend our money on" ... well not if its gifted do you Rob.

Sorry to jump on the Rob being annoying train again 🫣 but something thats really grating on me now is how he always mentions about how hard it is doing their job. He mentioned something recently about “oh well yeah its even harder for us having to work at night”, and it's just sly mentions every single episode, absolutely burning my head out. Does he think everyone else just works term time school hours 😂 imagine if he had to do night shifts and couldn’t afford for all the extra help & for his wife to not have to work also. It’s such a ‘poor me’ line which is stupid considering how much money hes earning, and yes we know its feast or famine 🙄🙄

Yeah I get that skincare is being pushed younger and younger, but theirs are Year 2 and Year 4, that seems really small to me for them to be aware of that stuff. Mine wouldn't have a clue what Sephora was because they're still watching Bluey 😂

Famous or not, I don't think it's fair to be asking someone for selfies if they're out with their kids. They didn't ask for well-known parents.

Getting a bit bored of Robs woe is me I’m so tired and down because it’s January and winter whilst also dropping in the holiday pre-Christmas and also the holiday post-Christmas to Dubai.
Just to caveat - I would also spend my money going away as much as poss if I had it, but come on read the room 🙄

Literally who said I’m getting ‘eggy’ and not enjoying the pod? I merely said I’m getting a bit bored of one particular talking point. Regardless whether he’s acknowledging his privilege or not, it’s fucking boring hearing someone complain about being tired following their stress free Christmas where he’s not had to work or miss out on family time and had 2 holidays.

Oh and also whilst I’m here moaning, if he doesn’t want to be recognised or hassled for photos in M&S on their busiest day of the year then he should use his millions to pay for a home delivery or send Lou to collect it ☺
Or maybe look at it from the angle of yes he's privileged but he's also a human being and just because he's got a few quid in the bank doesn't mean he doesn't struggle mentally? I can't afford Dubai at Christmas but I don't begrudge him because he can?

I thought Gino came across like a real twat at points. He's never done the school run because... He doesn't want to?? Some days I don't really feel like doing it but that's life. And it felt very much like he'd pushed his parenting and family values onto his wife rather than them creating their own values as a team.

I think they've fallen into the trap that a lot of influencers and celebs fall into - they get popular because people find them relatable, so then they deliberately try to be relatable by saying things like they're tired or stressed (because those are things we all feel at some point) but actually what people liked about them in the first place was that they had 'relatable reactions' to the mad bits of being famous etc.

I'm going through a bout of insomnia and am listening to old episodes at night sometimes and they were never really that relatable (and they just can't be- which is fine with me. How could they be?) but they'd actually tell stories, sometimes insane, about their weeks and it would be their telling of them and reactions which were entertaining.

Whereas now there seems one too many episodes where they don't really talk about what they've done, just say that things are hard. The recent episode of Josh being ill was an example of that. However I found the episode where he's talking about being in Finland (was it?) really funny - it was an 'unrelatable' experience, but that didn't matter because it was entertaining.

In general, I don't find it worthwhile to constantly think 'well if you're stressed you should try my life!' because I'm sure there are people who would look but I do agree that they've pushed it a bit recently.

Also Rob has got to let Josh get a sentence out - it's so hard to listen to.

In a weird way I kinda find it funny when they bang the tired drum. Makes me feel like I'm absolutely bossing my single mum of 3 life and just see it as a bit pathetic 🤣

Something I've noticed as a dynamic between Rob and Josh is that Rob really enjoys and relishes having one over on Josh.

His instagram stories about Josh being late (which I get, would be annoying!), his constant jokes about Josh 'looking scruffy.

I'd find it quite hard to say to one of my good friends that my mum thinks they're scruffy?

And the thing is, I can't recall an instance of Josh ever doing it to Rob?

It reminded me of something I read at uni (I wrote a dissertation on class) about how working class people are often held to higher standards and so feel more under pressure to always be presentable, have impeccably clean homes etc. So, that could explain why Rob is doing it but my god I find it annoying to listen to. It always goes on about three minutes too long.
