I can't believe they have Gabrielle on 😅 will definitely be listening tomorrow. I am so behind with all the episodes!

Totally agree with the majority of comments here. Too frequently he dismisses Josh, or says "we'll talk about your story on the next episode" which inevitably doesn't happen because Rob's back talking about himself or his week. I guess it's just two different personalities.

I think its pretty obvious Rob doesn't 'get' the dynamic of Josh & Rose's relationship either, and perhaps feels Josh is a bit henpecked ...which I agree with to a certain extent based on what's been previously said. (Like I feel it's bizarre to make interior or structural decisions on your shared home without having those conversations with your partner.)

I still enjoy the pod but thought this latest episode, and a lot of your comments, highlight how I feel when I listen too.

It’s good for his ‘brand’, his insta engagement over the next 24 hours will be well worth it. They’ll be thinking of the money.

I think it’s the same agent or company they are involved in.

And yeah, I tried to listen to todays but fuck me they are two of the most irritating people I’ve ever heard.

Did anyone find Rob a bit insufferable in todays episode?! The replying to the Daily Mail comments felt particularly self indulgent. A couple would have been funny but it just went on a bit.. Josh kept trying to move on and stop him!

I MUCH prefer them just chatting. I don’t even listen to the guest episodes any more.

Rob’s Instagram stories are brilliant today 😂

He’s got gifted tickets from that company that make the football cards he just showed. I follow Katharine Ryan too and her and her husband went to the last England game gifted by the same company.

Her outfit was 100% something I would wear, I loved it but I don't know or care in the slightest what is fashionable so I'm definitely not the best person to weigh in!

I'm the same. It feels attention seeking for attention seeking sake.

He's sold out his tour, he's got a new show with Josh and Alison, a successful show with Romesh, a regular BBC2 radio show, a popular podcast and he's invited onto plenty pods and shows about his passions too.

He doesn't need to do this. He's successful and totally well known.

Which is where my ick side kind of comes in, I don't get it. It feels like something a newcomer would do...

Buttttt the part of me that loves him thinks it's funny so I'm definitely torn. I'm trying to tell myself he's lost a bet.

The guy I'm dating atm can't stand Rob (he actually uttered the words "I'd never tire of slapping him" to me - I know, I don't know why I'm cracking on with him either) so I'm just WAITING for him to message me about it 😂😂 this may be the one time I actually can't defend him 😂

I love his own comedy and I love his acting - he was a bit of a baddie in Ted lasso. He was in the last series of taskmaster. He’s just a sweet and really funny guy. Also a magician 😂

I still listen religiously, as I love both of them and it's a generally easy going listen (except for some of the pregnancy / birth stories, which even as a childless woman I find quire interesting), but I do think there's been a lot less parenting chat recently. Not just on the episodes of the two of them, but even with the guests. It's like "do you have kids" "yes but here's what else I do" kind of thing. Which is fine for some of them but I do think it can feel too much?

I enjoy them talking about their homelives, and irs really interesting to hear how different people cope with different situations and yes I like to hear about rhe famous people's stories but equally I want to know how they do all that AND keep a normal life? Kind of thing.

I guess it was easier in lockdown because all people had was parenting.

I won't stop listening and I do really enjoy it but yeah I think there's a little spark missing at the moment.

That being said Josh has posted a few things to Instagram recently about him not feeling himself and I wonder if a wee break would do them both the world of good?

I still love the pod but I had no interest in getting tickets to Rob’s stand up but I’m super excited about Josh’s. Maybe I’m just a Josh super fan. 🤣
