She looks great for a night out in town with her mates, but it’s not a red carpet outfit.

I would agree, she looked fab but not for a red carpet... I wonder if a stylist could be a shout for next year as that could do wonders for her confidence too. As I can understand how daunting it must be, arriving alone as a "plus one", she's clearly not quite confident with the situation yet despite her years of being married to Rob. I'd love her to be able to show off and be a bit more confident as she's such a pretty woman, and she also seems pretty cool too!

If I didn't also want to be her husband's second wife, I'd like to be her friend.

I'm not fussed about Romesh TV stuff (except with Rob, I love the travel show they do) and can take or leave his comedy shows. I do really enjoy his Wolf & Owl podcast with Tom Davies. They're so different but listening to them waffle on is very amusing (there is no structure they just chat).

I really enjoyed today's episode of Parenting Hell as I feel like I "know" Romesh and his family from Wolf and Owl. He does seem like a really decent dad, he adores his boys and I love listening to him talk about them.

It’s interesting to me that they put it out as clearly a joke idea for a feature and only one person took it seriously and did a very earnest plug. It was a bit embarrassing tbh.

That's funny, because I thought the same. I know she made a comment about them not letting her on the show, so I hope they stick to that. Tom Allen was funny because his childlessness was a good one off (although I did think John Robins would have been a good one on a similar guise, mainly so he could talk about Elis and how different they both are and stuff, but when we were in lockdown. I'm less sure that would be as funny now). I don't want their childless mates all coming on and plugging shit.

She appears to hate being a mother and relish going away alone with her husband for several nights at a time "for work", frequently as well! Not the boys' fault at all but this guest was not a vibe.

I felt a bit sorry for the boys. She was icy. Hadn’t even done the minimum prep to find out a tiny bit about them. Arrogance.

I think Rob's joke about Rose is a little tedious now.

I like them both and ultimately always listen to the pod, despite having no kids and being far away from doing so, but I do think Rob is a little bit of an attention seeker. Which I guess makes sense as a performer, but the DM comment reading and his multiple Insta stories about 'abandoning' his family was an example of it for me

They've done EPs like this before, The last two on Spotify are called 'now that's what I call parenting hell volume 9 & 10' and they clearly say it's a 'best of selection' while they have a break over new year. Just don't listen (I haven't) until they come back with new ones

I was disappointed too, I thought maybe we’d get some previously unheard bits. Maybe they genuinely don’t edit anything out…?!

Yeah unheard bits would be better than these compilations. Or just have a week off.

I got tickets. Annoyingly the link on the email went straight to the venue when the tickets were actually on sale at ticket master so am about ten rows back

I forgot my Rob tickets also aren’t until 2026 so here’s hoping I’m still a fan of both of them then

I did this with Shagged Married Annoyed. Bought tickets over a year in advance as absolutely loved the pod at the time. By the time I got to the show I wasn't as into it and was getting bored and Rosie was annoying me, but it was alright they made me laugh more than I cringed

I have a playground shagger story but I don't think my husband would want me sharing it on the pod.

His ex wife was shagging a dad from school and when he found out all hell broke loose and there was a playground confrontation and fight. Much to my husband's eternal shame.

Very early in our dating life he'd told me about it because it tied into a bigger story of his ex's addiction and the general chaos that entailed.

On one of our earliest dates we walked into a city centre pub (neither of us lived in this city), sat down next to a couple and noticed Husband go very quiet. We'd bought drinks but he downed his, told me to do the same and then hurriedly left. I was confused. Turned out the bloke in the couple we'd sat next to was the bloke he'd given a pasting to a few years earlier in the playground. They'd both clocked each other but obviously didn't know what to do!

I’d question how private he wants to keep them if someone said above he bought them out on stage at one of his shows?

I think he's done well to be honest and full respect to him for doing his best. One show is a bit different to splashing them all over social media and name dropping them on his very popular podcast twice a week

Playground shagger episode was great. We all love the Tuesday episodes but I do like it when they do correspondence episodes too as some mad stuff always comes out

I think the tips he’d taken from that book were fine and the fact he’s aware of going to pricey places etc was also fine

But his whole thing about booking his own hotel etc because if the room wasn’t right then he’d have to be a dick to his assistant - secret third option is you could choose not to be a dick?

Everyone has their own sleep preferences and doesn’t function well on poor sleep but he seemed to think it was especially bad for him?

I don’t think he’s an evil guy but for someone who seems to put a lot of time and energy into making sure his pets and his kid are perfect then I’d maybe look into some therapy??

Not to derail the thread, but I have seen Pete Wicks in real life & he is just as beautiful as the photos! Well, apart from that one that Sam Thompson edited!
