But do they make the real money out of DMs/‘personal’ requests?
People wanting specific things would just normally go to the OF profiles that are doing said content and sign up to the basic rate of that profile I guess! I suppose you might get a few sad fucks asking to write their name on your tits for a hundred quid 😂 but even with that service it didn’t add up even close to what they were suggesting to make! Messaging again, it tells you how much you’ll be charged per message etc and the figures just did not match at all to what they were claiming to make! Idid the research 😂😂 it’s all smoke and mirrors, the only one making hefty dollar for fuck all is the owner of the site who definitely has all his clothes on and is doing nothing 😂 we should be encouraging girls to be like him!!

would anyone pay to watch someone suck my toes? Asking for a friend
I sold a foot pic for £100 once so probably 😂😂😂 I don’t even have nice feet 🦶 🙈

Admire Me is a better platform.

My friend has made 5 figures in about a year on it.

I’d definitely give it a bash if I had the confidence!

It doesn’t need to be full nude and you don’t need to show your face.

Interesting article on the BBC today.

From what I can see the advert is legal, however it does pose an interesting question, is there a line? I suppose legal is the bottom line for most people, but well Pornhub is legal, would you be OK with that on a billboard? Whatabout a company with a name something like HornySchoolgirls.com? Any content on a site like that will start with a disclaimer that all performers are over 21 and it’s consensual, so it’s technically legal, but the intent of a website like that is pretty clear.

Do we lift the ban on tobacco advertising? Tobacco is of course legal, but also harmful. What about if a loan company charging 200% interest put a great big billboard slap bang in the middle of a deprived area full of desperate people trying to access quick cash? Legal, yes? Arguably smart from a business perspective, but ethically questionable at best.

Food for thought.

But anyway a big win for the model, because this has broken through to other media and will possibly add another zero to her follower count. Job done from her perspective.

I had onlyfans when I was going through a manic episode, I made pennies and a guy messaged me saying he'd seen me around and mentioned the area I live. Freaked me right out.

It's so oversaturated it's pointless to start an OF at this point unless you're a celebrity/influencer with a lot of followers.

A teacher who got caught out doing Onlyfans is currently on Good Morning Britain, the media love to platform it and throw these mega amounts earned around. I still think it is all covert advertising to trap people into doing it with the promise of riches.

I don’t get why any guy would pay to see some influencer’s nudes when there so much free nudity and porn on the internet?!
This is what my boyfriend and I always say about these sorts of things as well as Snapchat premium which went the same way for a while!

You can find pretty much anything to your liking on the web these days for free so why pay for it?!

There are a lot of documentaries and articles about people making massive amounts of money from Only Fans but not very much about the people paying for it. I find it fascinating/ sad /scary that there are apparently so many desperately lonely people out there.
I don’t believe for one second that the majority of these people are making as much as they claim. It’s all PR to send people to their pages. I really enjoyed (?) the Olivia Attwood documentary and she was brilliant, but definitely didn’t believe that some of these OF performers were earning 1000s per week.

Oh jeeze. Stephen bear 🤮 i bet he never got over chloe khan and Charlotte Crosby playing him at his own game and winning. Outearni

Bella thorne?

That'

That's pretty harsh, work shouldn't be able to control your whole life. I mean you work there at set hours, after that your time should be your own, i hate this culture of how organisations seem to want to own their employees. Maybe if they paid people better they wouldn't need to be looking for easy lucrative side hussles??
Work definitely can have a say. Depending on the job And your image then if your employer becomes aware of it, it can bring the company into disrepute.

Reading more about it and it seems like the site got too big and too many "content creators" on the platform are scammy. So it attracts lots of reports of frauds from unhappy customers and it was getting too much for the payment providers.

Lots of big accounts were doing very well. But I don't think they will be easily able to get payers on a new site. I've seen some onlyfans stuff that makes it onto tattle threads (linked to twitter or elsewhere as we don't want that stuff uploaded here) and it's surprising people would pay for that 😐

Maybe a hacker might have some success but for regular joes doing it they've made it pretty imprenetable. Apparently you can still screenshot but you just get a black screen.
You don’t have to be a hacker if someone else does the hacking for you. I literally just now googled “OnlyFans content downloader” and the first result was from Google App Store with a free program that says it can download any content from OnlyFans for free and currently has a 4 out of 5 star rating as rated by over 70,000 users.

Even with that aside, a website cant stop people taking screenshots. Ever. They can make it so you can’t right click and save an image, or they could even try and disable the print screen button on your keyboard (though I don’t see how that would work) and can do the same with phones but there aren’t any impenetrable ways to stop people getting screenshots of anything. The internet is a public place.

Does anyone else see loads of people claiming they're like, top 0.1% of OF? in their ig bio etc. I'm not so naive to believe that people always tell the truth online though

shouldn’t they be labelling these articles as ads?
The pornography industry would rather these appear as genuine stories that promote the benefits of a career in porn to young people

The creators work with agents to get these viral stories to promote their accounts somebody that has done this is Bonnie Lockett imo her earning claims at the time she made them were lies / fiction

Bonnie sells this viral story service as part of her marketing and courses business

I agree, most of the only fans “models” (for want of a better word lol) are completely inflating what they actually get paid. We did the maths based on a few popular peoples OF’s even paid the initial price and we worked out that even if all of their followers used all of the services on their profile, they would still be very shy of the initial figure they claim to make. This is before OF takes a cut and presumably tax they have to pay on the earnings? It’s nice to look at it in rose coloured glasses as an easy way out of the rat race but it’s not. Hasn’t got the earning potential, no job security, no pension, no sick pay, no maternity etc and on top of all that if you decide you want out you’re looking over your shoulder wondering when those pictures will arise and bite you on the arse. No respectable company would take somebody on with naked pictures all over the net. Future dating prospects? I certainly wouldn’t want a man with his naked pics sprawled across the web. It would ruin your life. I suppose this is why they inflate how much they earn as well, to prove to the world the choices they made that have wrecked their lives were “worth it”.

My fella is a builder and they have a work group chat of loads of them, some of them chip in literally pence and one person signs up, they sign up and screenshot all the pictures on the girls profile the most explicit stuff and share it all over the group. That then gets shared again and again by what probably ends up in the thousands. I cringe when I see parents say they are “proud” of their children for doing only fans, they would be likely dragging them off there if they saw the muck going on around their precious kid in a million group chats all over the globe 🤮. All of that bother for probably what ends up being minimum wage or below? No thank you 😂 I thought of this as an option initially but did my research and all that above is what I basically found out. Not worth the aggro!!

I don’t see the issue with it at all. There’s loads of subscription porn sites that people subscribe to already, it’s just that OnlyFans has become well known. It’s just another version of Patreon but with more explicit content!

Bussy queen on utube has looked at whether the accounts set up by drag queens are worth the subscription. Some are lazy rehashed of existing SM shots some have exclusive videos. It seems to vary massively , but one of the things the site pushes is the chance to interact with the person which I feel really uncomfortable about. It is almost setting up a stan vibe, where people feel entitled to replies from them.

That is so scary only fans isn’t as safe as people make out to be I personally think it’s a bit of a scam and a low rent and a ioversaturated pyramid scheme
I don’t believe that everyone makes all kinds of money on there either
My cousin and my sister used to do the old lads magazine back in the 2000s They were really successful on the likes of nuts loaded FHM they have both said they would never do only fans because there’s a fine line between online prostitution and a few editorials in a magazine also with only fans you don’t get the prestige or glamour and there’s also very low quality control not everyone is model standard
