i had a look at liams instagram this morning and it made me sad that he follows the rest of the boys and only Louis follow him back
Just really got me for some reason
Being able to see this is a gift, but it's still so hard to do, so bless you.100% this. My dad has been going into rehab for most of life for alcohol addiction and 9/10 he falls off the wagon again, because as much as he does want the help there and then, it doesn't last. It happens time and time again. It's sad. You can have all the money in the world, all the resources there to help you but ultimately it is down to the person that is needing the help to actually want it because otherwise the cycle continues.
I just saw a twitter post about 4 moms losing a son today and 1 welcoming one in heaven 🥲i had a look at liams instagram this morning and it made me sad that he follows the rest of the boys and only Louis follow him backJust really got me for some reason
It’s crazy what people think they can do when drunk or high, I saw pictures of the hotel and yes the pool was miles away but when you are in that mindset you can convince yourself of these things. I have had an awful feeling for months now that something like this would happen, even more so after everything started coming out.He must have been off his head then, to put it bluntly. Daily fail show pictures of the hotel/pool. No way, if the above is true, he would have believed he could have made that jump if he was sober. Harrowing to think about tbh
What a sad way to look at things.Sorry but I find these kind of takes so poor, responsibility for someone’s mental health should never be placed at the partners doorstep.
He was clearly off the rails, why should she put herself in danger to look after him?
Not sad at all, I find it quite sad you refer to someone outing the abuse they faced as ‘sticking the knife in’.What a sad way to look at things.
I’m not blaming his girlfriend or saying she should have stayed there or put herself in danger. Nor am I saying she could have foreseen this.
But if you care about someone sometimes you need to put them first. She’s not responsible but clearly he didn’t have good people (not just his gf) around him.
Unfortunately privacy laws in South America are going to be very different to what can be shared and distributed hereAbsolutley disgraceful that there were pictures of his body posted online on a well known website, there needs to be some sort of law against this
Disagree as sometimes there comes a point with addicts where you cant do anymore, I'm sure his poor parents will be wishing they couldveWhat a sad way to look at things.

Yes I agree, he’d obviously got himself into some sort of psychotic breakdown and just went over the balcony not even thinking. It’s sad he was on his own. If this incident would have happened at his house or say in the countryside not in a hotel with a balcony we probably wouldn’t hear about it and he could maybe have sought help.I definitely get the sense that whatever happened prior, it was a deeply regretful snap decision made under the influence. I could actually believe it was "misadventure" rather than suicide just because of how completely random the circumstances are
Yes I also think there needs to be a law about pics of grieving loved onesAbsolutley disgraceful that there were pictures of his body posted online on a well known website, there needs to be some sort of law against this
Yeah I don’t think this was a suicide at all tbh. I can definitely believe he had suicidal thoughts before but in this instance I think it was a combination of being off his face and believing he was invincible/bad thoughts.I definitely get the sense that whatever happened prior, it was a deeply regretful snap decision made under the influence. I could actually believe it was "misadventure" rather than suicide just because of how completely random the circumstances are
This makes no sense. You don’t know how many times she’s put him first, what she’s put up with, done for him, given up. You just can’t say.But if you care about someone sometimes you need to put them first. She’s not responsible but clearly he didn’t have good people (not just his gf) around him.
Unfortunately when someone doesn’t want help it’s almost impossible to do anything about it, they need to want to be helped. There are many events that ultimately contributed to this, Simon Cowell working those boys into the ground being one of them, but at the same time no one is really to blame.Disagree as sometimes there comes a point with addicts where you cant do anymore, I'm sure his poor parents will be wishing they couldve![]()
This is the thing isn’t it, he experienced such a high level of fame at such a young age, when the band split him and some of his other band mates just became irrelevant over night seemingly.Unfortunately when someone doesn’t want help it’s almost impossible to do anything about it, they need to want to be helped. Replied to the wrong post, was meant to be a reply to the one you were quoting.
my daughter was scrolling tik tok and Night Changes played, it choked me up. I've got Walking in the Wind stuck in my head too.The radio in work played Night Changes and it got me. It’s just so sad and a waste of a life.
