I doubt that would have happened. Harry is due back soon and Louis will probs be back from his break next summer too.

I don’t think it will happen now, if we are lucky we’ll get a Brits performance to honour the anniversary and Liam
i always thought in my heart that 1D would come back... but now I cant see it happening again with just louis, harry, niall and zayn.... I dont think they would want to without liam. unfortunately the hiatus was probably a bit too long and everyone was focused on their own solo careers... and now they cant go back.
Besides the fact if it was real or not.
I don't think I'd be mentally stable for a reunion without Liam. I already cried at the S Club tour when they paid tribute to Paul, how tf would I keep it together for a band I love 93842908x more

Ref a possible reunion etc, What would happen with Liams 'share' of 1D? As they've made it clear over the years that they all had rights to the name etc, does it just essentially get absorbed by the other boys, so they'd own a quarter instead of a fifth, or is his share of 1D part of his estate etc? Even if they wanted to work together again, I'm sure they wouldn't do anything without running it past Liam's family anyway, but would they also legally have to get the okay from trustees etc too as Liam's share could technically at this point belong to a 7 year old?!
Hopefully if they do reunite, it's because they genuinely want to, not feeling they need to as a tribute to Liam. If they did however, would be nice to see them do something similar to Girls Aloud recent tour, which worked well as a remembrance of the band as a whole, and a tribute to Sarah.

Does Zayn still have his share after he left the band? I know Liam’s situation is different from Zayn’s, but if Zayn can keep his share after he left, maybe Liam’s estate/family will keep his share. I wonder what their contracts stipulate regarding redistributing or dissolving their individual shares in the band.
I do think that if the guys decide to get together and do a tribute to Liam, they’d run it by Liam’s family—not necessarily to get permission but as a courtesy.

If the reunion rumour is true then Liam must’ve known it was potentially on the cards before he died. I hope that was his final thought; he wanted it more than anyone, even Directioners. These things take months to organise so wouldn’t have just been something they cobbled together in the last 6 weeks.
You would think though if Liam knew anything about a reunion or had any expectations, he would have been getting himself together for it rather than acting like an idiot and shoving mammoth amounts of drugs into himself but maybe I just don't understand addiction

Royalties will continue to be paid on any copyrighted music / physical goods they are entitled to even after death (to the estate) and Zayn would have continued receiving even after he left the band.

But actual gigs, if there were any, I doubt there would be much money for Liam (or when Zayn left the band). Possibly some royalties for specific songs but I’m not sure how far royalties extend to live performances.
I think all contracts would be set up for that tour/gig only eg on condition of actually performing at the gig. It certainly won’t be the case they say ‘we will pay 1D £2million to perform this tour’ and then it gets split equally no matter who is there.
