It is so sad how many of us saw this coming. Liam has just always stood out to everyone as the 'sad one' didn't he? He clearly struggled the worst with the band breaking up. I don't think he ever got over that loss of suddenly the lads he thought where his mates were gone and comparison 24/7 to Harry & Nialls success must have been horrendous.

A patient who used to always come into my ED was a twin. His twin was a successful solicitor while he was a homeless addict. All he did was talk about how successful his brother was. He got off drugs for 4/5 years then one night decided to take drugs again and he died. Comparison is the thief of joy and can just tell Liam was like this.

Horrendous. Simon Cowell should be ashamed of himself honestly.

It’s sick - there’s so many comments on his gf socials saying ‘say something!’ ‘We need answers!!!’ ‘People deserve to know what happened.’ The delusion is scary…
what are these people expecting exactly ? what answers do they feel theyre entitled too and why? absolute nutters

In my experience (nurse) of treating people who have fallen from a height, any kind of deliberate fall (e.g. jumped and missed the landing) involves jumping feet first.

For someone to fall head first, it's 99% unintentional/misjudgement. Take that up to 99.9% if they fall backwards.

The fact that there are no reports in any media that people attempted to give first aid makes me think that it was the latter, and he was in a condition where the injuries were clearly unsurvivable.

If the TMZ balcony picture reflects where he fell from, it's not actually that high, and I think most people who jumped there feet first would have serious injuries but not ones that were immediately fatal.

The circumstances will be expanded on later, but even with this level of info I am strongly inclined to believe he didn't jump and it was an accidental fall.
Agreed! ED cons.

Saw that photo last night of his body in work absolutely disgusting 😠

The bleeping level of entitlement there. People don’t DESERVE to know anything.

So funny how now everybody "looooves him and wished him well along"

The hypocrisy of it all!

RIP Liam Payne. You will always be remembered </3
Literally just scroll through tiktok for 15 mins and count the lives/ posts of people sobbing,
Talking about how much “they adored and relied on him” but not once single post of him before. There was a a girl on live in a psych ward last night ACTUALLY Sobbing, Sui baiting, eluding to harming herself etc.

This generation is warped.

Yeah on the Liam Payne thread literally September 2023 there was discussion when he went into hospital following kidney failure about how we could this happening and he will end up dead

Nothing new about this I’m afraid. Just look at the wellbeing helplines set up for Take That fans 30 years ago.

As long as there have been celebrities, there have been crazies.

They were worked to the bone. No wonder they took a break and never went back to the band. I also think that they had it incredibly tough as they were the big act during the huge rise of social media. The invasion of their privacy by fans and the demand put on them was insane. I know it set them up for life but they had a tough time. I often think about how batshit crazy people were around the whole Larry thing. That ruined Louis’ and Harry’s friendship. The way fans would harass their girlfriend or anyone around them. Not for all the money in the world.

I think Liam in particular found the comedown from that height of fame hard to adjust to. You could tell that he thought he’d be the huge name out of the band, but I just don’t think he worked for the solo career hard enough. Harry worked. Niall worked. I really didn’t think Niall would have the career that he has now considering he hardly sang in the band. I saw him live a few months ago and you could just tell that he really put in the work to become a better singer and is passionate about his own music. Looking back, Liam really was lost from the end of the band onwards. A sad end.
At the time I was devastated as I was still fairly young and didn’t fully understand the impact of the constant touring etc, but looking back now I can’t believe how badly they were treated. Worked into the ground to the point where some had to turn to drink at just 19/20 😕

I'm quite glad that all Louis family have been on holiday with him this week I think they was going home yesterday but I'm hoping he's gone home with them
I thought this too. They’re exactly who he needs to surround himself with right now ❤

I agree with similar professional experience. The amount of people who fall from railings when drunk/high is mad- its the invincibility feeling that you can sit or even walk on them. I suspect something like that here

Im so sorry to hear your nephew has had such a difficult time and I hope he is well at the moment .When I had pnd and also was pregnant with my 3rd child I had a similar-ish experience .I went to my hospital and told them I was going to take my own life ,the maternity department and my consultant ,several midwives etc were already well aware of my state of mind but there was 0 practical help offered.People would listen to me talk but ultimately I'd be given no practical advice or support.
They only actually do something when its too late imo.
He’s on the right medication at the moment and is luckily do well. And I’m so grateful for his friend finding him. As much as the NHS does some good, I couldn’t be more angry with them for sending him home. For not getting in touch with the right people and listening and sectioning him. He did need help. He was hearing voices telling him to kill himself and all these awful things to himself. Things he would never do. He told them and it still wasn’t enough.
I’m so sorry that you and your baby’s life was put in danger by them not taking your word as gospel and just basically saying “it’ll pass.” I know the NHS is stretched and we have all these numbers and quotas to reach, but surely it would be better to have a person helped as a quota than them be as a death? I totally agree that they only care when it’s too late or it’s gotten too hard for the person to be helped.
I hope you’re feeling well now x

Even when you don’t compare yourself to others, you’ll get toxic people in life who will do it for you unfortunately. And should you say I don’t compare myself to to others, you’re seen as thinking you’re better than them or high and mighty when it’s just the healthy way to be
