God it makes me feel so sad and disappointed in our society anytime I see the likes of Olivia Neill pop up on my FYP.
Watching the severely underweight flaunting their bodies in gifted designer clothing, jetting off on endless holidays, riding in expensive cars, partying it up with celebrities and all in all being rewarded and praised all because of their stick skinny appearances.
It’s just
so sad and dystopian, it makes me feel dizzy. They always look so proud too like they
know they did nothing to make themselves worthy or deserving of the riches they’re receiving. They are fully aware of the damage they’re doing to thousands, some millions of young girls and their self esteem/body image. But they just don’t care. They’re too vapid and self absorbed to care or to even look outside of their shiny little bubbles of privilege. You can really see that if you listen to snippets of the podcasts these kinds of girls do.
Total airheads.
I would not be surprised to see studies come out in the future on the damage done by these sorts of people on millions of young impressionable teens & young adults. And I’m not just talking in terms of self image issues but also in what the harmful effects of obsessively following vapid people like Olivia can do to ones brain and awareness of the real world.
