This is the kind of tea I enjoy haha I had no idea!!!they actually own shadey store... weird I know because they don’t openly promote it BUT I only found out because I used to follow the old shadey shores insta and had messaged them before and they suddenly made a new one and the old one became one of the O’Donnell’s extra instas (only noticed because hadn’t deleted the messages). So I kinda put 2 + 2 together. Also they and roxy are the only models aside from 1 or 2 customer pics. But all the glasses are from AliExpress and all cost under £10 on there so....

Do you know I always thought this. Because they all promote it and they are the only ones that do! I always thought it was so strange that for years they have been the only influencers to promote it. & when I’ve gone to the insta sometimes they don’t post for months at a time so it kinda makes sense! It started out as Ellie’s sunglasses business while she was with Bear. Then it became a family business. It really was never a secret.
I’ve never seen them say it’s their business, they never reference it’s their or their parents business. And if it is their parents business they should know better than those illegal returns polices.... & odolls is in their bios yet shadey store is in no ones. That’s a bit odd if you or your parents own it.
If that’s true why isn’t it a registered business and why are the refund policies breaking the law? I thought the parents would know how to run a business
& no no no this has been going since way before Ellie and bear. I’m talking years and years ago.
I edited my above post to add more context. it started out as Ellie’s business and then they changed it into a family business. Anyone who followed the Instagram page when it was in Ellie’s bio will know this.it changed after she sold out of her first drop. If they wanted to hide it they would have started over completely. I doubt anyone in their family gives a tit about illegal returns policies until it is said in their comments

The “official store” that is the first suggestion is what used to be Ellie’s store. Notice it had posts beginning in 2019. They deleted Ellie’s content and started then. They just changed the name. They may have saved other pages or used other pages with similar names prior to that for various reasons. Like in case they get deleted lol. But the current page is definitely Ellie’s old one.

Ellie still follows the old “Shadey store” that was used before they switched over her page. They must have trying to capitalize on the following that Ellie’s page got, so they switched it.
Idk if you guys care, but I also noticed that Kady McDermott owns or has a business interest In “ayla grace” which she always does photoshoots for and flogs. I know she does because when I asked her she blocked me lmao

I do remember while Ellie was living with bear she wanted to bring out a Sunnis line. And I never remember it actually being made, she said she wanted them to be designer quality for cheaper. HOWEVER she barely wears or wore shadey store on her insta yet Daisey wore them loads & this photo was before she even went public with bear and it’s still Daisey tagging one of the later instas. Proving that it’s in fact been not the line Ellie brought out or was going to bring out when she was with bear. Sooo. Yes it’s not long before but Ellie didn’t bring out or speak of any glasses until she was with bear...

So they left up one tagged pic from the Ellie/Bear days. She called it dollshades prior to the switch. I didn’t think there would be any proof of that left up, but there ya go, one tiny shred lol. You can find this on official Shadey stores first tagged pic!

The tagged pic i posted is from the page they currently use, proving that it was Ellie’s page while she was with bear. Go look on the tagged pics of official Shadey store. It’s the first one. It might have been her page that when it didn’t work they used it for shadey store but as you can see before it (dollshades) even launched which was what August 2018 there are photos of shadey store on daiseys page tagging shadey store in April 2018 soooo if I’m correct that comes before August meaning shadey existed long before “dollshades” just because they have made use of an old page doesn’t make it the same thing. They have had a few shadey store accounts because the old one they couldn’t get back into or something and then they even had one before that.

I said in prior posts that they may have used other pages In the past and even posted that Ellie still follows the old store, but the current page they use is Ellie’s old one. It’s fine if you don’t believe that despite the fact they still have Ellie’s “dollshades” picture tagged. It’s not that important.
