Off to see Liam perform Definitely Maybe next week. Going to re-listen to all the B-sides

Love Oasis. Sadly never seen them - I was meant to see them for the first time at V Festival 2009, which they dropped out of, then they broke up shortly after.

I've seen Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds a few times though - really like his first two albums.

I'm thinking they'll start in Manchester? Parklife will likely be the first weekend in June 7-8th June? So I'm thinking Oasis the two weeks after that for whoever many dates in that time. Then Glastonbury and then Wembley in July?

Ahhh so excited even though I'll probably fail at getting tickets. Glad I got a new credit card last week now was trying to get rid of them 😂😂

Also glad it's tomorrow they releasing the dates I assume? And not Friday like Liam hinted 🤔

Just saw someone post this. Nothing showing on ticketmaster for oasis dates but it shows support acts with the cities.

Surprised no Blossoms...
I just read on the Oasis forum that these details are left over from their 2009 tour

I hope it’s not new music, don’t want to waste time at their concerts listening to new songs nobody cares about, need to hear the classics

this song is so so special to me 🤩 my mum loved oasis since i was young and me, her and my sister used to absolutely scream YOUR MUSIC’S SHITE IT KEEPS ME UP ALL NIGHT UP ALL NIGHT together. we’d listen to it in the car and roll the windows down and shout our hearts out out the window. i was about 9 and up at the time and it was the most thrilling thing ever 😂

my daughter loves doing the same so maybe this mother-daughter tradition will carry down through the ages ❤‍🩹

i NEED to get tickets if they’re playing, haven’t seen them before and my mum died last year so it would be nice to go with my sister and reminisce!
My condolences to you @virtualorigami ❤ What a brilliant memory to have. I really hope you get tickets, what a cool tradition that will be.

Ahh okay would make sense for the Blossoms to support since they had shown the date. Also would prefer blossoms as I don't know the ones I posted
I think it confused a few people! Sorry my reply was so blunt, I still can’t believe this is probably, finally happening!

I have limited knowledge of GDPR but would Ticketmaster actually be able to share the emails/details of people that got tickets with Oasis/whoever deals with the ballot? I’m hoping like others said it’ll be people that didn’t get a ballot code that now get a chance?!
Thats what I was thinking too. Surely they’ll firstly invite those who didn't get a presale code the first time round - but just because someone didn't get a presale code it doesn’t mean they didn’t end up securing tickets in the general sale

Same! What a time to be a music fan ❤

Some more Definitely Maybe love for this epic. I think it will be a huge singalong at the upcoming gigs.

(When I say I think about that album every day, I always think about this song when I finish my workday “goodbye I’m going home” 🤣 )

So there have been a few rumours about an announcement coming for some UK reunion dates, what do we reckon? Fake news or could this actually be it?

I can't believe I just found this thread!! I've been an Oasis fan for a long time, thanks to my older siblings. I was massively obsessed with them as a teen (think early to late 00's) and have just recently fallen head first back into that hole. My dream was always to see them live but they never came to my country and I didn't have the money to go overseas to see them before they split up. I have distant dreams of seeing other Noel or Liam live but as of now I'm relying on YouTube.

I just bought Knebworth 1996 on vinyl as a Christmas present for myself 😆

Editing to add one of my all-time favourite performances of theirs (and fave song)

First time I saw Oasis was in 1995 when they supported REM at Slane Castle! They were amazing and the crowd ROCKED! Saw them again in The Point Depot (Dublin. Now The Three Arena) in either 96 or 97. Jesus they were just out of this world.

Love Noel and his High Flying Birds. Saw him in Dublin last year and seeing him again next Sunday in Dublin and can't feckin' wait. Another outdoor gig so not too hopeful of fine weather if the past 8 weeks has been anything to go by 😭😭😭😭 Ah well. Hair will be in french braids and will have the poncho and wellies at the ready if needs be! And PLENTY of beer will be drank! So fuck the weather!

Amazing really how time flies! Honesty, was just saying to Mr Crazy about going to Maine Road to have the honour to see them. Best days ever! 💗😘
