A principal from Derry accused of sex allegations has been cleared. Was that the man we talked about a few weeks ago?

Just checked it was! He's given a radio interview came across well, says the accuser was besotted with him. Destroyed his life.

Something off with the whole thing, apparently the girl was addicted to porn and had it on her iPad but her mum said she couldn’t read or write to access the sites 🤷🏼‍♀️

Does anyone have any thread suggestions?
I'm tit at that.

Seems like he's gone through a real ordeal. I must read up on it, he's taking civil action i believe.
He spoke well this morning wants the person who accused him to get the help she needs. They did question him about her attending his home 😬

She was at his home with another girl and his son, apparently that’s how she was able to describe his bedroom as they were upstairs like teenagers usually are.

That's scary. Going on the comments he's a popular man. I always believe allegations should be fully investigated but I can't understand how this went to trial without evidence. I assume it was the incapacity of the accuser.

Next election will be tight, the media has played a blinder here people will vote orange and green like never before. I'm calling it now Alliance will lose seats, they'll be the big losers.

That case has been dragging on years, it’s a difficult one given the circumstances, I wouldn’t like to think her mother had a motive 😕

Either way we’ll not have an assembly, if the DUP win the shinners will do exactly like they’ve done and refuse to take their seat..-Two can play that game.

I would hope SF wouldn't do that. MON hopefully will just shrug her shoulders and get on with it.
History will remember.

I doubt it, who could live under DUP policies they don’t want to move forward or change .

It's a bit silly. If the assembly was functional the protocol could be worked out. SF didn't impose that on people the British government did, so I don't understand why SF are being held responsible.
What changes with another election apart from SF not returning as the largest party? I assume if that's the result the DUP will magically decide things can be sorted through the assembly and the media has a hand in this, those videos didn't surface by accident. I know you know all this but it just shows we don't live in a democracy.

It’s nothing to do with the protocol they just refuse to take second spot to a Catholic, they’re already getting the changes needed to bring goods in without the extra checks so now they’ve decided they can’t trust the British gov 😂

Anyway all our Christmases have come at once “Majella get up those stairs “ 😂

I always thought it was the parent that made all the accusations (not the actual child herself) and it was her that was besotted and a woman scorned and all that but I could have got it totally wrong.

Ah really 😕
The only thing I read on it was from the beginning of the trial and it painted him in a terrible light. Imagine my surprise this morning hearing him on the radio and he's an innocent man.

He was always very popular until the accusations as you can imagine people will look more at the alleged victim especially as it’s a SN school.

Officially launched legal action

Holy hell what went down at Westminster? People being bullied and manhandled, foul mouthed rants at reporters, deputy speaker losing her rag. Chaos. See ya later Liz 👋
