Norris Nuts #4 Over worked, under nourished and running out of ideas

It was discussed a while back here on one of these hreads, but she literally made a game out of whether she was pregnant, having them catch a ball telling them if they caught it she was pregnant and when she told them she wasn't pregnant Biggy broke. She can be downright psychotic and her kids will have so many issues.

I always wondered why the kids were so emotional during challenges. I thought meh there just kids and maybe their competitive. I mean it's only a fun little challenge after all and doesn't really mean anything. But to those kids it meant a LOT, which makes me feel there was much more going on than meets the eye.

Are they being pushed to their limits to get the best footage, ie; barely eating a thing so the challenges mean so much more to them. The Last to Stop Eating Carrots video was very telling, i'm sure Sockie hit Sabre during that musical chair segment (quite deserving actually) since Sabre was disgraceful to Sockie during that and seemed very uncaring about her sisters ejection from the challenge. If you don't know what i mean check that video out and goto 12:30 and at 12:52 it was about to go down, then CUT. I know it was from a few years back, but jesus kinda makes you wonder what really goes on behind the scenes.

I also find it strange that Brooke surprises them with things when it was the kids that actually pay for it in the first place. Those kids better have trust funds for all these years of hard work. They definitely must be millionaires individually i'd imagine.

Realistically I don't think any of them will have a normal life. None of them will go to school and it's unlikely that Charm and Disco will either, as they are being primed to take over their channels when the others age out of it. School would take too much time away from filming/editing and with the kids being the ones making millions, there's no way Brooke and Justin would want to take that away anytime soon and have to get real jobs.
The kids probably know the bare minimum basics of how to read and write but that's it. They will struggle in the real world if they are ever exposed to it. I don't think there are any plans to move anywhere for university, although Sabre will probably want a place of her own eventually. I cannot imagine being 16 and that rich and sharing a room with my siblings still. I think at least one of them will rebel hopefully. Eventually their channel stats will fall out. They will get older, their mass of legends will grow up and forget about them. They still have several years, seeing as Sockie and Biggy could still pass as 10-11 years old and Naz is still little.

i think that the reason (or the main reason) the kids are homeschooled is brookes need to totally control their life.thats why they also dont go anywhere and stay anywhere without a parent,dont meet other kids and have no friends,their diet is very controlled and etc. they were homeschooled from the begining-long before they were on youtube.
but the financial motive can also strongly motivate brooke to continue their homeschooling and their social isolation( no friends and no dating) ,
so they can spend more time and energy on youtube .
so their success makes it even less likely that brooke will let go a little and be less restrictive and less controlling.

Yeah I agree, just imagine how different the kids lives would be if they went to school. Especially as teenagers, they’d be arranging things with their friends at school, going to friends houses, hanging out for food or at the beach or whatever. And especially at Sabre’s age, kids just decide what they’re doing and let their parents know where they are. Brooke would not be able to handle her kids actually having a social life and wanting to do something that doesn’t involve the family.

I do see it from her side slightly in that maybe they wanted to have the kids home-schooled from the start to give them safety given that Justin was an Olympic swimmer. But in my opinion that didn’t make them ‘famous’, they weren’t famous until about 4/5 years ago when Sabre started getting bit and going on Ellen etc.

Like I understand the keeping them safe part (ive heard of other youtubers having people turn up at school and trying to take the kids out of school). But the kids still need friends. They are so behind academically and social development wise. And that comment from Sabre about getting a new dog being like replacing a dead spouse… if she had friends and said that around them I’m sure they’d put her in her place. But she doesn’t know it’s not acceptable because she’s got no one to guide her.

It doesn’t seem as though the parents have any friends either , it’s all very odd. I think the kids wil struggle later in life with any type of independence and I wouldn’t be surprised if one or more rebel.

Their lives seem even more odd as NSW is now in lockdown but when you think about it their lives have literally not changed. They don’t go anywhere except to the shopping centre to film challenge videos. I’m in VIC so I’m not sure if they could still go out and surf as their daily exercise? That is how restricted their lives are, that they can go into covid lockdown and the only thing that changes is that they can’t film challenges at the shopping centre.

Almost everyone else’s lives change dramatically during lockdown. Kids have to adapt to home school, people have to work from home and care for their young kids etc. Nothing much changes for the NN, that’s how isolated their lives are to begin with.

I honestly doubt their daily routine changes much regardless of whether they are in lockdown or not.

They don’t miss any school, they don’t have any sports teams etc that they compete for that they miss. Their lives are so isolated.

I find it odd how the older kids, especially Sabre and Sockie, are not embarrassed about having to take part in childish games and challenges, but it just goes to show how isolated they really are. I doubt any of them will be able to survive in the real world, especially with how young Sabre acts at 16, which is really sad, because I believe they could've had some potential in life had they been educated properly and less isolated.

in there newest video, sabre is trying to go through the mcdonalds drive thru for the first time, but before they went thfought the drive thru they made sabre park the car as a test. All the kids and there mother were in the car being loud and distracting, and i've tried driving before, and it's stressful when there people talking. I feel kinda bad for her bc she just wants to do something and the whole family has to be so dramatic so it's more attention grabbing when people watch the vid.

I was so annoyed that Brooke kept stressing Sabre out when she tried to park in. How about encouraging her a little? I get that Brooke tells her what to do on the streets because they could have a car crash but she tried to park on a parking lot, it’s not a life threatening situation.
She just learned how to drive a couple of months ago, the last thing you need in this situation is someone discouraging you in the passengers seat. At least her siblings were somewhat encouraging, especially Naz.

I hate now the Norris Nuts over dramatise everything, and use awful clickbait thumbnails for views. The kids can never properly enjoy anything without having a camera shoved in their faces. This is probably part of the reason the kids get so excited and emotional during certain situations.

she's such a pretty young girl. she would have an exceptionally bright future if Brooke and Justin let her make friends and do something other than produce content.

Poor old Naz is so manipulated. She’s such a people pleaser and gives a lot to the camera for her mother’s pleasure. But I also think she is the most neglected of the 4, she seems to be treated badly and the more eager she becomes and the more she tries to get attention the more they all ignore her. I feel really really sorry for Naz I think she gets the short end of the stick. She’s left to her own devices a lot it seems

It’s interesting reading all these posts from the last few pages, I have completely stopped watching their YouTube, after they killed that dog that was it for me. I couldn’t stand them. But it sounds like the same old tit, they’re starting to show their true colours and it’s starting to become evident what kind of adults they will be.

I didn’t see the Sabre comment but it’s a real shame when she was younger she was so sweet and really seemed to have a good strong moral compass. But like the rest of you have said, if you get treated in a certain way for long enough you’ll end up like that. May the Norris nuts be a learning lesson to all of us in social experimentation, their mother has a lot to answer for…

I ended up watching this documentary recently called The Wolfpack about six brothers whose parents basically locked them in their new york city apartment for most of their childhood. They were homeschooled and completely isolated. Their only contact with the outside world was watching films, and they created these elaborate sets and reenacted the films they watched. Had costumes and everything and filmed each other. The dad was really controlling towards the wife too who basically went with what he said and he was really protective of the kids and didn't want them to have any outside influence. It reminded me so much of the Norris Nuts. Maybe not to that extreme and there is a huge difference in wealth but Brooke and Justin definitely isolate their kids and they very much live in a fantasy of youtube and social media where they're acting all the time. They don't have any socialisation either and mainly have each other as their friends. They probably don't have much knowledge or real world awareness yet. It's interesting but sad, especially considering how the NN are both incredibly sheltered but also have millions of people watching the lives they choose to show the world.

True, but that's only if you know how to manage it correctly. Both Sabre and Biggy are bit obsessed with top tier brands, i mean how many 12yr olds you see walking about in Gucci or Dolce & Gabbana from head to toe. Mind you not so much anymore, i can't remember the last time i saw them wearing their own clothes. It's just head to toe Norris Nuts fashion now......which is annoying. But you get my point...

I couldn't imagine being that young and being millionaires already. God knows what the hell you'd do with the rest of your adult life if money is not something you need to pursue like it is for other mere mortals. That's what us humans work for after all.....we all want enough money to not need to worry about money.....that is the driving force in all of us. But what do you do when you've achieved it in great quantity before adulthood? What is your purpose, goals then?

That's a question for the philosophers....

I think she thinks about it, but not in that kind of deep philosophical way in which she uses it as constructive criticism to better herself… instead she reads stuff and thinks tit how can we manipulate the legends to believe we’re still good people and nothing is our fault. It definitely contributes even more to her narcissism. Everything is so carefully controlled by Brooke and she is constantly trying to protect herself and put the blame on others.

She views everything as ‘hate’ or ‘mean comments/people’ even when it’s just people actually worrying and showing care for the NN.

it seems now that sockie and naz have given up the idea of sharing a room.very recently they wanted to share.
maybe because they are not really close and often seem uncomfortable when they are alone.
maybe they have just grown out of it.
brooke wasnt sure there would be enough rooms in the new house ,so their willingness to share solved a problem for her.
i hope there will be enough rooms in the new house they choose/have chosen.
it seems like there are.
if not biggy might still have to share-probably with naz.

Its crazy how an almost teenage boy is still in the same room as two other teenage girls. Hormonal changes and puberty and all other changes, need privacy. It feels stupid to not give them their privacy when they can afford to.
And these kids are so educationally stunted. When theyre watching things or doing challenges sometimes from their speech or questions they ask, you can tell how ridiculously behind they are on subjects. C’mon theyre that big and still call is “cooking cakes”. And theyre from an english speaking country.

Yeah, Biggy should be sharing with Naz not his 16yr old sister going through puberty. As for their education, absolutely they are behind. The amount of spelling mistakes, not understanding certain words is quite shocking. The number of times they say things wrong, like Sabre saying Bold rather than Bald is concerning.

The best one was when Naz said she can hear their foot prints during a hide & seek a year or so back, I can forgive her considering her age at the time. But man that was damn funny and adorable.

Also on the other point I can kinda see a Macaulay Calkin kinda situation arising as they get older. Imagine Olsen twin style scandal following Sockie and Sabre around in their early twenties as they lose the plot completely
