I remember the producers saying he only ever agreed to one series. I smell bullshitJB is still trending on Twitter I imagine he’s drawing up some bullshit statement to release soon
interesting reading into Christopher Ecclestones departure too. Would love to hear more from him as it was always reported he was the problem when it was clearly the environment
I heard on Sky news that the report was made by a drama school in London who asked him to visit to talk to the students, however he was caught out trying to persuade a class to strip off to "enact getting ready for bed" as some sort of a test of their talents. HmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmAnd as I predicted sky have just given the news that
"
Police have said they have received a third party report relating to claims of sexual offences committed by a male, after allegations were made against the actor Noel Clarke.
In a statement, the Met Police said: "On Wednesday 21 April police received a third party report relating to allegations of sexual offences committed by a male over a period of time. Officers are currently assessing the information"
This will of course be part of the guardians hard work and the women who have come forward. The guardian and accusers of NC together with their lawyers will have worked out a timeline culminating in giving a report to the police.
It blows my mind that anyone could be comfortable protecting this man
I hear you. Like most of us I have my own me too story, more than one actually, I fall into the "why didn't she go to the police" category. I grew up in a society that told me loud and clearly that I wouldn't be believed. I didn't tell my family either, I've always only wanted to protect them from that hurt. There are so many reasons victims don't do all of the things society tells us we should...if only it were that simple eh? Abuse and recovery from it is messy, trauma takes time to process. It's not as simple as those who haven't been through it would like to think, they should just be really really grateful that don't get it and instead should ask victims how they can help.As a woman who was in an abusive relationship for 2 years I totally get this. I haven’t actually told anyone because I feel this. I feel like everyone needs me to prove it wasn’t my fault all while they pick it apart like they don’t believe me, like it was my fault.
It is so hard to explain how you feel as a victim to someone who isn’t.
The only thing worse than the abuse itself would have been being forced to relive every moment of it over and over again in front of strangers and family members. People totally underestimate how traumatic that process is for victims and with such a miniscule conviction rate it's really no wonder why victims choose not to put themselves through it. Not to mention having to answer to people who without video evidence and eye witnesses have already decided there isn't enough hard solid proof and the beat goes on....I hear you. Sorry to hear this happened to you. Speak to the union they will take on "deathbed converts" I was not in a union and had a really bad experience and they took me on as long as I joined that day.Sadly not in a union. I learnt my lesson there.
He's disgusting and I still have to pass him and get emails from him.
It took me a year or so to get over shaking when I thought or saw him. I'd burst into tears at home.
To know this man has a vile reputation and is still employed and protected is the most upsetting part.
I've said he's dangerous, I've said he will do this again and it will be worse next time.
I'm so fucking angry now I nearly confronted him at work because he'd come to our area of work where he's banned.
It took everything I had not to chase him and tell him in front of everyone that he is banned because he's a predator
Hence HR saying I need counselling to manage my emotions.
I consider myself pretty tough and it took everything to make the complaint and go through the procedures and it nearly broke me.
I absolutely and totally see how these men get away with it.
And it won't just be 20 women. You can easily times that by 3 or 4. I'd say it's rare to come forward because it's such a complex situation and there are limited help in place for these situations.
Maybe I will go to the police ,just to chat to them
Sickening post. Have a word with yourself.Another pervert using His Power over women to get what he wants from them
How long before Katie Price pops up to claim he tried it with her too? Trouble is that he wouldn't need to try at all with that one and everybody knows it
Ah yes. The DW set/production in Cardiff was known to be a pretty toxic workplace right from the off, as per its own first season lead. Christopher Ecclestone, who is on record as having quit because of the culture of bullying from the top down - and here's what should tell you something about how incestuous the industry is - was effectively blackballed in the UK for some years afterward for doing so and putting the BBC in a difficult position. The fish, as is often noted, rots from the head. As showrunner and overall Big Cheese, the atmosphere and overall standard of behaviour allowed on his set began and ended with RTD.Wonder with the news of Noel and resurfacing of John B's behaviour, what Russell T Davies has to say about this given how much in charge he was on the show. He'll have to say something about this at some point.
I just want to point out how difficult it was for anyone to get UK police to even LOOK at Ian Watkins. You're failing to understand just how difficult it is to "absolutely solidly prove it to be true"You're showing yourself as someone who has no understanding of how difficult it is to get a conviction on these cases, how much the system already favours the predator, notice how your putting the victims on trial instead of the criminal, the current system was written by men, for men and until that changes this is the only was to expose these predators and protect other women from them. Stop contributing to rape culture. If the best way to get protection was to go to the police, women would do that, you don't know that they haven't, maybe they have and were told there was insufficient evidence. If you're teaching your son about consent you really don't need to be worrying about him being falsely accused because of the way the world is headed.....however the risk to your daughter is very real because of how the way the world currently is, that is a legitimate worry. Your son has a higher chance of being struck by lightning.
May have been he was on a series by series contract instead of locked in from the off for multiple series as nobody really knew if Who could be successfully revived long-term at that point. It's quite easy to lie by omission to smooth things over, of yes, Chris was only signed for one series, let's not mention to fact he had the option for more but walked after finding the set utterly noxious though!I remember the producers saying he only ever agreed to one series. I smell bullshit
Report to the policeAre you in a union?
He might have had influence behind the scenes but he was not credited for anything other than acting,Not sure if this was previously mentioned. I did wonder if Noel also wrote/directed Viewpoint.
catherine T was speaking on this morning on Tuesday about the show and remarked about all the different variety of sex scenes she had to do to find only one small clip was shown. It was said light hearted but it made me wonder if Noel was behind that
I hate to say this because I really agree with your overall view that Russel T Davis has a lot of explaining to do, but this comment is just so wrong.Very possibly RTD as a gay man may have enjoyed John Barrowman's (a good looking gay man) propensity for indecent exposure, and his apparent love of getting his knob out and touching people with it non-consensually.
His parents are from Trinidad but he was born in London. It seems his mother has commented on recent happenings. Said he’s not at home and she’s still proud of him.I’m so saddened by this and he’s from Grenada kmt ANYWAY, I feel that his career is finished I believe the allegations, Jamie Winstone’s statement was it for me (sorry) , it’s kind of strange looking back though, in Kidulthood I think the character ‘Sam’ was really just Noel Clarke, the bullying, how he was with ‘Claire’ then in Adulthood you see ‘Sam’ try and redeem himself then all that Fukry with Adam Deacon. He may have a dossier of allegations going back beyond 2004, maybe the police have to build that concrete case......
Go read about her then you'll know the truth.Sickening post. Have a word with yourself.
