They are just Tik Tokkers with a bigger audience and a spurious degree of respectability.Abandoned house
I don't know what Sky news are trying to achieve but Kay Burley and her sidekick are melting my head.
I hope she falls in the mud on a great big turd
one thing I did notice in my case with the insomnia I tended to get better sleep in the summer months, Im just wondering if it was because I'd take an anti histamine to help combat hay fever,I’m already on the full hit of HRT-,it does help but the insomnia and low energy won’t budge.
Hoping I’m on my last year or so and then I’ll start sleeping again
I have too but as an anxious person I've also had feelings about plenty of things that didn't happen (ie every time I travel by plane my instinct is it will crash). I firmly believe most stuff like that is just confirmation bias.I definitely believe you can have instincts because I’ve had feelings about a few things were going to happen before they did but I don’t believe anyone is truly psychic to the extent they can see things in detail and hear things
Seasonal affective disorder is also a real thing.one thing I did notice in my case with the insomnia I tended to get better sleep in the summer months, Im just wondering if it was because I'd take an anti histamine to help combat hay fever,
I doubt that was the case as it was an "info" call with lots of colleagues on it. Sounds like your typical stand up morning meeting. If any mortgages had fallen through (which is pretty common right now) she'd have already known, she'd not have been told at that meeting.finding out so many news things on this sky special about her, didn’t even know someone else saw the dog in-between Mrs string trying her up. I assume this would be Mr fluffy dog?
I’m wondering if on that teams call she found out her mortgage deal fell through or something along the lines of that and it just tipped her over the edge and she just walked off
her daughter in law knew Willow belonged to Nicola, and recognised the photo on the phone Lock Screen (presumably of the girls)What id like to know is if the dog Walker didn’t know her name how did the school work out who she was? There has to be so many kids in this school…he hadn’t taken the phone with him really confusing
Yes MrFD was almost simultaneous to MrsString but the police aren’t mentioning him - likely because they don’t need to as he’s just confirming the same timingfinding out so many news things on this sky special about her, didn’t even know someone else saw the dog in-between Mrs string trying her up. You’re right. I was almost appealing to them and their family directly (although they would never read here!) When something has just happened it feels like nothing will ever be fine again, but day by day, month by month, year by year, things somehow do become fine. It’s a different fine, and not as happy a fine as before but it’s what you’ve got. I remember when by mum first died, I would stare out of the window waiting for her car to drive in the driveway, I waited for someone to tell me that it had all been an awful mistake and she was still alive, I’d wake up in the night calling out for her. If someone had told me then everything would be ok, I wouldn’t have believed them, but somehow you just continue and slowly things just… become fine, life doesn’t really give you a choice. Does that make sense?I don’t think anyone can promise that anyone devastated by Nicola’s disappearance will be fineyou can have all the support and resources in the world, but if your mind is just not where it’s needed to be, you won’t be fine. I’m sure their family will provide absolutely everything they can to make sure the girls are ‘ok’, and hopefully they absolutely will be - but it’s not something that can be promised unfortunately.
We used to call them Gee-Up meetings. We had a new boss who was very keen on them. Soon knocked it out of ‘em. Nobody wants to whoop at 8 o’clock in the morning. He turned the entire department into April Ludgate.I doubt that was the case as it was an "info" call with lots of colleagues on it. Sounds like your typical stand up morning meeting. If any mortgages had fallen through (which is pretty common right now) she'd have already known, she'd not have been told at that meeting.
yeah I guess so, I’m just wondering if something had tipped her over the edge that morning for her to walk off, considering Willow was found upset between the bench & gateI doubt that was the case as it was an "info" call with lots of colleagues on it. Sounds like your typical stand up morning meeting. If any mortgages had fallen through (which is pretty common right now) she'd have already known, she'd not have been told at that meeting.
They absolutely would have. There's not a chance in hell they haven't especially with the amount of resources they're ploughing into this case. I must check the timelines but technically aren't they the last people that had any form of contact with Nicola, in the form of the Teams call?I would be extremely surprised if the police havent spoken to her boss and everyone involved in the timeline before her disappearance: just another thing they usually don't have to disclose to the public in these cases.
The police said the dog Walker rang her daughter and her daughter made a few phone calls and then they figured out who it wasWhat id like to know is if the dog Walker didn’t know her name how did the school work out who she was? There has to be so many kids in this school…he hadn’t taken the phone with him really confusing
They contacted the Angling Club about the mysterious ghostly fisherman, I’m more than confident that actually interviewed anyone who had been in touch with her over the last few days. They absolutely would have. There's a tremendous amount of unseen legwork that does on with these cases (having, very briefly, been involved with one myself). And, as you rightly pointed out, much of this legwork is not of interest to the public. But it's lines of enquiry that have to be investigated to rule out what *is* a point of interest to the police.
the gentleman dog walker has just confirmed (on Sky news) it was definitely Penny (Mrs String) who found Willow and the phone and harness, Penny's daughter/daughter inLaw is a friend of Nicola's on FB she is also along with Emma a governor at the local school, Nicola also I think voluntary helped with the year 1 classThe police said the dog Walker rang her daughter and her daughter made a few phone calls and then they figured out who it was
Psychics are absolute con artists. Why aren't they down at the police station so, solving all the unsolved murders? It doesn't work, it's never been proven to. If it had, they'd be used and taken seriously.I think she looks gaunt. Her face in other photos was full; here, it looks strained. That is someone who was under a lot of pressure.
The police could've/should've/would've (in retrospect) just said she was battling mental health issues and left it at that. There was no need to mention menopause or reliance on alcohol. Even if an outlet was threatening to expose the police visit on 10 January, I think *most* people would use their discretion as to what that meant.
To those who aren't convinced that some can 'face read' - yes, it is a thing. The Chinese have even mastered it. Some people are heavily intuitive and can tell a lot by someone just by looking at them. If you choose not to believe it that's cool, but it is a thing.
To those who rubbish psychics, there is one here in NZ (Kelvin Cruickshank) who helped find a missing person; and there is a lady in Australia (Debbie Malone) who often helps the police. Yes, there are a lot of fraudsters out there, but there are also genuine psychics.
Nicola strikes me as being a very proud person, and I imagine if she knew her struggles had been widely reported she would be mortified.
One thing that is interesting in a lot of the psychic readings I've come across, is that there is some information that will come out about the case which is being concealed by three people in particular.
They prey on vulnerable peopleThere is no such thing as a genuine psychic. They don't exist.
I have similar medical history to you. However when my gp wouldn’t help I visited a dr specialising in menopause. She agreed to try hrt in the form of a pessary and gels. It’s been transformative for me. I’ve had blood clots as well as the other issues you’ve had so it was always said by gp no no no. Just thought I’d say that in case it helps.I concur, what Nicola's family are describing is me. I'm not suitable for HRT having had pretty serious reactions to artificial hormones in the past, and also fibroids and an endometrial ablation.
There is no help, there is no GP interest. I'm OK and pretty much teetotal FWIW, but it's an endurance test.
I feel so, so sorry for Nicola and her family. She must have been trying so hard in every aspect of her life.
I don't know what has happened to her but I feel like I want to pass my respect on to the ether to her for what she was dealing with before all this.
Also may the person who forced the release of this info burn in hell.
Didnt know that, thanks. MAkes the police's actions even more despicable then. Talk about the tail wagging the dog!A bit off topic but your post sounded like my position a few years back and I wanted to say it’s worth asking for a prescription for oestrogel that you can use alongside the mirena, it’s a natural product and you get to control the dosage. It really helps with the brain fog.
Anyway, back to Nicola, I genuinely thought my contempt for the police couldn’t get much lower (and I have worked with some absolute twats particularly in the Met for over 30yrs). Absolutely no-ones business what hormonal issues this woman was suffering from and it’s simply not true they had to release it before her friends did, you can get a gagging order to stop the press when there are children involved.
