Latest vlog. The excerpt she read from her book was as sixth-form and corny as expected but presumably good enough for her Betty Basic stans - you know, the ones Nicki gets pissed off with when they ask dumb questions e-v-e-r-y-d-a-y but who are acceptable when they buy merch, book the Airbnb or send funds regularly via Patreon.
Nicki's own makeup has always been terrible, very flat and chalky. As a redhead she might be using a mineral high SPF but that doesn't excuse the hard eyeliner and dry lipstick which she shouldn't cake into the down-turned corners of her mouth. She could check out UK makeup artist Lisa Eldridge's tips for "happy lips" on You Tube.
I wonder if N is getting fewer makeup bookings. I've always thought her kit looked manky, whenever she'd film a session it seems more like an anti-advert, she'd chuck it all in a backpack, whinge about how hard it was to get to the venue and always seemed keen to leave. (Sort of OT: My hairdresser said her friend who is a wedding makeup artist is losing work as many brides now have friends or family who consider themselves makeup experts since the explosion of makeup tutorials and content on socials, and the easy availability now of all sort of products. She did hair for a wedding where two nieces and a nephew set up a makeup station for the wedding party and guests who were staying at the same place, with incredible results apparently).
Back to the vlog. A dreary small-fry "New York fashion influencer" visited with her harmless partner, a quick look at her Insta shows nothing anyone hasn't seen before "Hey guys tell me about your favourite view!!!" The flesh tone shorts she shows off under a vaycay dress look unhygienic, perhaps they're for anti-chafing.
