Just caught up watching the latest. How can she not be mortified at that 'book' and 'reenactment'? Didn't anyone tell her?

Most of those who make their living from social media do indeed lose touch with reality, they start to believe the constant praise from their stans and think that anyone who dares to critique their work or their MO must be jealous trolls. I think N is a tough old bird though, she'll be quite comfortable knocking out any old tat for her followers and will suck up the less positive comments while the money keeps rolling in.
I think N&C know it was a mistake doing those vlogs where they were going all over looking at random properties, giving inconsistent explanations for why they were doing so. And talking about the London property she owns outright also wasn't smart, while they were crying poor over car repairs and other expenses. They've swiftly gone back to the "this is just our simple life" approach.
Carlo has no hesitation in filming with his drone, despite Nicky being told in no uncertain terms during a meeting sometime ago with a local official that it's not allowed in the area.
I don't think she has realised how bad it looks her talking about her london property. I had wondered before how Skye had gone to boarding school considering they constantly spoke about not having money so people would have worked it out in the end even had she not said it
Before she talked about the flat I thought her father had funded Sky's fees - now she's finished school I'm sure the rental has given a boost to their income. Not surprising that Carlo could give up his job as gravedigger. I actually prefer the vlogs now with him as he's

Good point about Carlo @Spirit of place, his being a local was always one of the best things about the vlogs, and he'll have more time now he's retired. At least Nicki has acknowledged that he's the one who opens doors there. She does seem keen to show that life there is not idyllic - and to be fair her dreamy stans probably need to have it pointed out - but her general demeanour makes it come across as moany.
Her book is released to buy in paperback today.
Apart from its Amazon/Kindle-only availability, it's obvious it's a vanity project, I mean what proper publisher would release a book with positive review quotes on the back cover which are attributed to..... no-one!
Perhaps the second addition will correct this:

I know right? This is what I referred to as seriously creepy in an earlier post. The heavy breathing was gross and went on and on. In her vlog she said she's hoping Netfilx will be in touch for a movie or series.
I know they don’t have a lot to do in those hills, but that scene was one of the most disturbing things I’ve seen a vlogger do. Seriously unhinged. And ALL of them who took part thought that was worthy of publication. Never mind the crappy book!

There are far worse vloggers that I watch, lol and Nikki didn't used to annoy me as much but the constant hawking of the book is irritating. I refuse to watch the re-enactment or reading or whatever it is because the second hand embarrassment would be too much. I really honestly only watch for the scenery of Italy. Clearly with her narration style she thinks she is a best selling author. I smell a sequel.
