I’ve been through postnatal depression followed by straight up depression, 3 colicky babies, worked full time since my kids were 6 months old, and supported my husband through study and now him working in a higher up managerial position where he is away constantly, as well as shifted to a new city, set up a new house, and still feel like I’ve managed better than she has.

I know motherhood isn’t a competition but fuck me!
When you’re ALWAYS looking for trouble to start like she is, you will always find it!

She's not much of a Mum, is she? A number of my children have similar things to R. and we spent the first few weeks and months researching, talking to people, asking the school about supports, talking to the teacher, looking in to tutors. Maria could take all the money she spends on smutty books and use it to get R. tutoring after school. It just sings to me of "I can't be bothered." Those days where all she does is laundry?
Yeah, I get mental health, but nobody is going to spoon feed you what to do with your kid. But it breaks my heart to think that this poor child has had no one push for him or help him, when his Mum is in the perfect position to do it. For one of my kids, I've had to take 6 1/2 days off work in the last 6 months for specialist appointments of some kid that will help them at school.

Can’t with this! Yes it will cause her migraines but she’s not doing really heavy weights or hard core HIIT. Hers is because the body isn’t used to it. Plus all the weekend junk she ate then exercises masks the really reason she’ll get a migraine. Feed yourself properly and hydrate properly afterwards.

And not to go all 2021, but correlation is not causation The adrenaline dump from what appeared to be a really stressful shoot & prep, anxiety, air travel there and back (flying is never great), heaps of different inflammatory foods ... sure, launching straight into a workout won't have been ideal (for anyone unaccustomed to it) but if a migraine comes on you could hardly point the finger at exercise and exercise alone?!
