I know someone who named their daughter Harmony. I live in London and frequently walk past certain shops also named Harmony & it makes me cringe!!

I had an Archie in my class at school and it was a really old man/unfashionable name back then and now it's in the top ten.

Someone on a FB group I'm in has just said her daughter is called Emerleigh..... I'm assuming it's Emily? When these people go to register their babies the registrars must struggle to keep a straight face sometimes

Lol someone I know is called Beth-Anne and if you pronounce it like Bethan (the best name) she goes mental!!!

I've always hated the name Alec because it just sounds like you tried to say Alex but missed off the last sound. Same with Bethan as well, just sounds like you couldn't quite finish saying Bethany. I don't know what it is about names that sound like unfinished versions of other names, but they annoy me.
