Thanks for the tip. I remember NB on those Olay ads years ago and have seen her pop up as an influencer since, including regularly on Jo Good's BBC Radio London afternoon show, which is always a creepy love-in. We should flag it here next time they're on. They also did a vlog together in Superdrug with MAM tagging along adoringly while shoehorning in, being in W1, it is her local branch.

I think many influencers are less than diligent in ensuring that an #AD declaration is always visible, on any platform or device that might be used. It is very convenient for them that, for example, the description box on YouTube that contains the declaration is not expanded by default. The YouTube app on my TV does not even show the description box. This means a video can be clicked and viewed without the viewer knowing they are watching an ad. In this case the ASA states the video title itself should contain #AD, but how often do we see this?

The ASA website makes this clear to anyone who doesn't want to put their head in the sand.
She’s so crafty. I’ve watched quite a few that have felt “off” and then weeks later out comes a “partly sponsored” one. I’ve gone completely off her.

I began to watch the video but I had to switch off, her voice was too smug and irritating. The comments section was full of people saying how wonderful she is at describing fragrance, and nobody describes perfume like her. Ffs she was reading most of it from the marketing blurb.

Apart from the origins of amber, I think she’s also missed the mark with her audience in this video - she’s forgotten who watches her. She’s gone very high end here, nothing more affordable, and they’re letting her know in the comments. Ridiculous given her audience, as well as the current social and economic climate.

I’d been ignoring her, but the revival of this thread has reminded me how much she pisses me off 🤣

So yesterday - birds nest hair but won’t show her face? Then she’s obviously put some slap on because she graces us with an ‘amusing’ story re said hair 🙄

A little later, hair straightened but still frazzled and looking dreadful - where are all her ‘hair saviours’ that she’s constantly flogging us? Why does her face look orange compared to less than an hour ago?

Ohhh, what bullshit. She was completely crazy best thing ever in the whole history of things about Erborian CC Creams and Drew Barrymore's Flower makeup ranges too... By coincidence she was also doing their PR work when they both launched into the UK markets. So disingenuous. I used to really like her too.

She’s live with the other Hag now. Apparently redken is saving her hair. Wonder what’s happened to the nexxus she was raving about 2 weeks ago.

Funny how they don’t appear to be in a bubble now they’ve been called out for it.

If you’ve noticed, no one called Philip Kingsley has ever been interviewed by her. Plus, her hair isn’t a good advert for them, especially her previous snaggly mess, if indeed she’s ever been to them.
He died 5 years ago at 86. Looks like his daughter is the one keeping the snake oil promises going by blaming him dying for her hair falling out to shill the cure! 😂

I’ve just reported her to the ASA. I’m bloody sick of these insta scammers not declaring shit properly. Even if it’s not technically an advert, she’s definitely got previous and ongoing relationships with some of the brands she waxed lyrical about, so I feel that at least there should have been some type of declaration in the text along with the video.
It's worthwhile also posting this sort of shadiness over on this dedicated thread, otherwise the record of these instances can get lost in the threads.

I’ve heard it all now. In her IGTV on skincare under £25 she actually suggests that it’s down to a conversation with her that the bloke who owns Revolution changed his company strategy and the type of products they make to become more successful 🤣 Talk about having a high opinion of yourself! Just fuck off Nadine, we don’t believe you.
