Yep, I’d forgotten she was on it. Not sure how she wasn’t sacked for eh same thing. I saw one of her slots and she was talking about some vitamin c drinks that she was advertising on Instagram.

I didn't know about her dismissal from TM, but they've now got Hirons, I mean choose your poison . Funnily enough I've bought a few of her hair care saviours listed on her recommendation. Living proof was a huge disappointment and she absolutely raved about it. Does Caroline Barnes have a thread, don't mind Caroline but can't stand the lip smacking and mmmmm sounds, anyway I bought ex1 foundation on her recommendation and it was the worst foundation I've ever tried. I don't trust any of them.

I watch Caroline. I like the looks she does as she’s a similar age to me and they’re fairly easy. Put oh my god, the lip smacking and other noises, makes me cringe.

I follow Jo and watched her for a while, I tried to get into the threads here but they're so long and fast moving. It was actually through Nadine that I discovered her. I did a little reading off tattle about JG and she had quite an interesting personal life.
Anyway I caught a little of Nadine and Ruth's live a day or two ago and had to switch off, they were talking about toilets and I was there for beauty, so nope.

Sorry, the Jo Good threads are quite long and fast moving! Maybe we should do a wiki. We are busy over there noting the non-stop instances of her being shady, attention-seeking, hypocritical, narcissistic, disingenuous, rude, slapdash and inaccurate in the pursuit of becoming a fashion, beauty and lifestyle vlogger for the older woman.

Compared to Nadine Jo Good's knowledge of beauty products is negligible, she doesn't review things she just slaps on what ever she is sent with an off-the-cuff comment and hopes people will click on her affiliate links. I will be listening to the interview with Nadine tomorrow because Jo Good will have her crawly hat on, trying to syphon off some followers from Nadine.

Yes it seems to look like a list of things she had been paid to promote.

I’m getting suspicious on Olaplex too. I have a feeling she’s being paid to promote that. It’s following the usual pattern. Talks about them for a while and then a partly sponsored video appears. Then constant mentioning of them with a comment that it was a one off payment and therefore none of these other mentions are an ad. I really cannot stand the woman now, she makes my blood boil. She’s so full of herself, thinks she’s superior to the rest of us. Her reactions to her not socially distancing were the first thing to get to me but now the more I see the more I realise she’s a sly one.

The reviews on Fragrantica aren’t great. Everyone says it’s lovely but projection and longevity are not good so probably not worth the money anyway.

I’ve heard it all now. In her IGTV on skincare under £25 she actually suggests that it’s down to a conversation with her that the bloke who owns Revolution changed his company strategy and the type of products they make to become more successful Talk about having a high opinion of yourself! Just fuck off Nadine, we don’t believe you.

I don’t follow Jo so I’ve not seen it. What did she say? There’s been a lot of influencers going there lately, Nadine was one of many. I do think it was poor judgement on her part to go at that time when the Covid situation was worsening again in the UK. It wasn’t strictly necessary.

But she deserved the holiday because she works SO hard!

I have to say, I’m not seeing what the some of you are regarding ageing on NB. She is a 57 year old woman, at the end of the day , she won’t look 25. She looks like she’s ageing at a fairly normal rate, tbh. She’s already said that she was a sun worshipper in her youth, no amount of skincare and injectables in your 40’s+ can undo the long term effects of years of unprotected sun exposure.

I am 100% with you on the time warp hair, the terrible tops and general annoyingness. The interrupting anyone she is with is infuriating. The ‘Beauty Hags’ series she had on YT with JoJones was just hours of video of Bags talking over Jo. So rude.

I think I've already said this, but I've bought a few things based on her saying hooooowww aaammmaaazziing they are and absolutely regretted all of them. Surely I would have liked at least one rec. I love a chypre perfume and adore YSL, love yvresse but nobody else does, so I might have a sniff at tuxedo anyway.

Next time I’m on perfume parlour I’ll try and remember to check if they do the ysl tuxedo. I’d rather try that than pay over the odds for something Nadine’s recommended that may well end up being a massive let down.

I really think it depends on the person doing it and the size of instrument they are using. My last one was done by a senior nurse at the GP surgery and it was fine.

But I agree that’s a terrible thing to put on a public group.

Yes to choosing a smaller speculum but relaxing is really important too. It can also be painful if the patient is very tense. I realise that relaxing isn’t the easiest thing to do in that situation but it will really help make it more comfortable.
