So Nadine’s raving about that Nexxus shampoo and conditioner that she’s been shilling, while flicking her hair around showing it off - best thing ever for fluffy hair apparently. But then in the next breath says she’s also using two styling products (Kerestase and Redken) to smooth her hair out while blow drying So, actually her hair is a result of a combination of all four products, and probably a lot more to do with the styling products in reality.

Yep it’s that great you need not one but two blow dry products to stop it being fluffy after you use it. Has she even marked this as an ad yet or is she still making out she’s letting us know for our benefit?

Have we seriously now reached the low point with these people that the level of their embeddedness with brand advertising is such that they are telling us when an individual post is NOT specifically paid for? She's probably contracted to share the image on her socials so making jokes about filters wouldn't look good. I think it's quite sad, she looks great but they still chose to filter her.

I don’t know. Question is, should they be able to photoshop your image without your permission? Did she give them permission? I suppose the photo belongs to them so they do what they like with it It’s all wrong.

Anyway, she’s still an annoying hypocrite!

I looked at the Insta live just now, I just let it run and popped in and out if it while working, there's no way I could give it 73 minutes full attention. Jo name checked the usual suspect brands she promotes. I really don't know why Nadine Baggott is such a cheerleader for her, I know it's beneficial to NB to appear on the radio show but surely BBC Radio London would have Nadine on no matter who the presenter is.

I think Jo plays sweet and needy and naive with Nadine, who I think feels a bit sorry for her, which results in MAM getting maximum return - she certainly knows how to play people.. NB strongly suggested Jo do "My 5 fave pieces from the high street" vlogs. I think they spent the Ivy Cafe meeting identifying that the £££ of Jo's fashion might be alienating some of her core viewership, so some form of relatability is needed. Nadine offered Jo use of her videographer. Jo said she should and could do it because all the shops are around the corner but knowing her flaky ways she will do one or two, there'll be no research she'll run in and hold up the first five things she finds in an XS.

I managed the first ten minutes. She was obsessing over the Chantecaille product she was gifted and then implied she bought it regularly.

I don’t follow Jo so I’ve not seen it. What did she say? There’s been a lot of influencers going there lately, Nadine was one of many. I do think it was poor judgement on her part to go at that time when the Covid situation was worsening again in the UK. It wasn’t strictly necessary.

She says come people have illegally been to the Maldives and been silly enough to post it. Mentions reality TV stars. I don’t think she’s having a go at Nadine (who has liked the post). I really don’t think that they think Nadine did anything wrong. Or that the did anything wrong filming videos together. Jo starts off talking about all the shops she’s been in,Poundland,Wilkos etc to relieve the boredom of lockdown by looking at makeup in there. I don’t think she realises the “stay at home” message applies to her.

Yep, it’s so smug. Like she’s sat there laughing at her audience. Reminds me of the Child Catcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I watched the video. I don’t know why I do it. I don’t think she’s even tried the stuff. She’s literally just been sent it and is talking shite about hair being like mushrooms and armour.

I watched it too but I didn’t make it to the end. She kept tripping over her words with the science stuff, pretending she understands it and trying to explain it to us dimwits when she clearly doesn’t have a clue herself. I find it extremely annoying and patronising.

How did the Jo Good conversation go? Did she get a word in edgeways or did Nadine just finish her sentences?

I got busy on calls so missed Nadine's spot with Jo Good on BBC Radio London. I'll listen later. I noticed that Nadine didn't promote this appearance on her Insta, that will surely p*** of Jo Good who uses every chance to promote her socials to followers of successful vloggers.

I began to watch the video but I had to switch off, her voice was too smug and irritating. The comments section was full of people saying how wonderful she is at describing fragrance, and nobody describes perfume like her. Ffs she was reading most of it from the marketing blurb.

Apart from the origins of amber, I think she’s also missed the mark with her audience in this video - she’s forgotten who watches her. She’s gone very high end here, nothing more affordable, and they’re letting her know in the comments. Ridiculous given her audience, as well as the current social and economic climate.

Don’t know what’s going on with her hair but since she had it done with that steam pod last week she’s wearing it that way all the time. A few weeks ago someone on either the Sali Hughes or Caroline Hirons thread (sorry I can’t remember who it was to give them the credit) said they saw a similarity between Nadine and Caitlyn Jenner Anyway, now she’s got her hair like this, and the way she’s tucking the annoying grown out fringe behind her ears, I can’t stop seeing it

I made a comment to Baggott on that awful cringe Superdrug video regarding her constant mask touching etc. She just ignored it. But someone else she did reply to and totally brushed it off. It was ridiculous considering part of the video included her stressing the anti Covid measures in place within store and saying not to touch things.

Loads of her other followers were piling in defending her though, saying to lay off etc. Which is quite worrying to think how many people obviously think there’s nothing wrong with what she was doing. So do they all do this when they’re out shopping? Doing the food shop?

Haha I can’t even bring myself to hate watch Nadine and her smugness when she’s flying solo, so I can’t begin to imagine what she’d be like if she’s got another insta shiller to bounce off She does that beauty hags thing with Jo Jones and it looks awful - maybe Jo Good is trying to get in on the action?

Didn’t those two get together during lockdown and said it was because everyone had asked them to?

I haven't commented on here for ages, but a random thought concerning Nadine and her ilk just popped into my head and I thought it worthy of sharing. If there is one good thing that could come of the Covid-19 pandemic it would be the "death of the influencer". Now clearly I don't mean actual death, I'm not wishing that on anyone, but if Covid put paid to these ludicrous people hawking their overstuffed opinions to the rest of us I would be very pleased. I believe their time has come and gone, I think the pandemic must have crystallised in people's minds what matters and what doesn't. Who needs some over-filled and over-Botoxed fake looking woman telling them what to think and what to buy??

Back to Baggott. What new scheme is this she’s peddling? (See pic) I refuse to swipe up, but it appears to be yet another thing they want people to subscribe to in order to recommend more products they don’t need.

I meant to ask if anyone watched her thing last week “let’s talk about green washing”? How fucking patronising was that, coming from the likes of her?! Just seeing her little trailer was enough to get my hackles up, I couldn’t bring myself to see her smug, self-satisfied face lecturing us about it.

I follow Jo and watched her for a while, I tried to get into the threads here but they're so long and fast moving. It was actually through Nadine that I discovered her. I did a little reading off tattle about JG and she had quite an interesting personal life.
Anyway I caught a little of Nadine and Ruth's live a day or two ago and had to switch off, they were talking about toilets and I was there for beauty, so nope.
