Yes, to be fair, she has kept it under wraps as she was having tests and whatnot re viability and complications. She has said that it wasn’t planned, was totally unexpected and she isn’t sure that “congratulations” is the right word, so I think it’s fair to say that she‘s got mixed feelings about an unplanned pregnancy in her mid-40’s. I can’t say as I blame her, I’d be horrified to find myself up the duff at this point in life (also a similar age) and it would take me a while to get my head around it all if I decided to ahead with it.

She did an Instagram live earlier and she looked very tired!

I hate this cynical marketing to my age group. They’ve never bothered about us before, so they can do one now quite frankly. We don’t need to be sold anything different to put on our hair, face, body, etc, and we’re capable of finding a doctor for anything medical.

I made a comment to Baggott on that awful cringe Superdrug video regarding her constant mask touching etc. She just ignored it. But someone else she did reply to and totally brushed it off. It was ridiculous considering part of the video included her stressing the anti Covid measures in place within store and saying not to touch things.

Loads of her other followers were piling in defending her though, saying to lay off etc. Which is quite worrying to think how many people obviously think there’s nothing wrong with what she was doing. So do they all do this when they’re out shopping? Doing the food shop?

Don’t know why I do this to myself but felt the need to read the comments and watch the video. “You’re not allowed to touch anything but I have sanitised my hands”. Everybody sanitises their hands, she shouldn’t be touching. She does touch through despite her replying to comments saying she doesn’t. She’s an out and out liar who thinks she is sooooo much better than the rest of us.

I can’t actually believe she replied to somebody who had lost a parent to covid and was asking why they’re not socially distancing with “you do know we’ve had a test, that it wad my first holiday in over a year and Jo has done a lot for charity”. How entitled does she come across.
I don’t know who is the most annoying her, Hughes or Hirons.

I looked at the Insta live just now, I just let it run and popped in and out if it while working, there's no way I could give it 73 minutes full attention. Jo name checked the usual suspect brands she promotes. I really don't know why Nadine Baggott is such a cheerleader for her, I know it's beneficial to NB to appear on the radio show but surely BBC Radio London would have Nadine on no matter who the presenter is.

I think Jo plays sweet and needy and naive with Nadine, who I think feels a bit sorry for her, which results in MAM getting maximum return - she certainly knows how to play people.. NB strongly suggested Jo do "My 5 fave pieces from the high street" vlogs. I think they spent the Ivy Cafe meeting identifying that the £££ of Jo's fashion might be alienating some of her core viewership, so some form of relatability is needed. Nadine offered Jo use of her videographer. Jo said she should and could do it because all the shops are around the corner but knowing her flaky ways she will do one or two, there'll be no research she'll run in and hold up the first five things she finds in an XS.

I've been asking myself precisely that, I only check her stories when I see her mentioned here now.

That’s the only reason I looked, because this thread was revived, and I wish I hadn’t as my blood pressure immediately went up several points. It’s just idle curiosity on my part, and perhaps hope that she will be doing something good, but she never changes; same old smug expression, hair flicking, tired phrases and underhand selling tactics

Always a good listen to hear Jo try to ride on the coat tails of NB's big following, trying to attract followers to her own Middle Aged Minx YouTube vlog, where she shills and rarely discloses #ADs #sponsored etc

Jo has been pushing Super Facialist and Paula's Choice lately, let's see if she can shoehorn in reference to them on the non-commercial BBC.

On BBC Radio London yesterday afternoon after 4:30pm.

Nadine Baggott and Jo Good (aka Middle Aged Minx) using a BBC platform to promote brands with which they have/had a commercial relationship.

At 16:41 Nadine Baggott mentioned the brand Paula's Choice, and said Jo is also fan. Jo picked up the subject saying that she uses their retinol product and finds it non-irritating.

At 16:54. Nadine again mentions a Paula's Choice product, prompting Jo to mention yet another Paula's choice product.

Many other brands were mentioned, including Garnier/ L'Oreal, which we know NB is associated with.

The BBC is a non-commercial station. I understand that while reviewing anything that the brands need to be mentioned, however it should alawys be disclosed if any of the reviewers/commentators have a commercial relationship with anything mentioned.

I’d noticed over the last few days Clinique products had started to get mentioned. Then yesterday she admits to working with them but it’s not an ad in anyway. She’s very transparent and yet is so bloody smug and thinks we are all thick and can’t see it.
