Next thing they’ll be flogging their products, or Nadine will have a paid partnership with them. Does Jo do their PR by any chance?

That fragrance did sound nice but I’ve not tried it and there’s little chance in the foreseeable until stores reopen and I can make it out sometime I’d kind of begrudge being tempted by it though, knowing it was because of her - even if I liked it I’d probably deny myself out of spite

The reviews on Fragrantica aren’t great. Everyone says it’s lovely but projection and longevity are not good so probably not worth the money anyway.

This woman is infuriating me with her blatant disregard for covid rules. Truly shocking. I’ve never known how Jo puts up with her, she’s so rude speaking over her all the time but they’re taking this piss now. Basically sat on each other’s knees and touching each other.

Always a good listen to hear Jo try to ride on the coat tails of NB's big following, trying to attract followers to her own Middle Aged Minx YouTube vlog, where she shills and rarely discloses #ADs #sponsored etc

Jo has been pushing Super Facialist and Paula's Choice lately, let's see if she can shoehorn in reference to them on the non-commercial BBC.

Yes it’s really sloppy. She always goes on like she’s some expert too. Makes me wonder what her skincare knowledge is like. I’ve never actually checked if what she’s saying is correct.

She keeps banging on about her scientific credentials as well. Makes you wonder how she could be so way off the mark doesn’t it? Stupid woman. She’s seen her arse with this one!

Her BBC Radio London show, the Sunday shows particularly, is a spruiking post for companies with whom Jo Good has - or would like to have - a commercial relationship. Every aesthetic practitioner gets her begging for a neck treatment. Nadine Baggott facilitates the shills further by repping so many brands, but it's so kind of her to go on the radio with advice for the listeners, of course that's only reason Jo has her on.

I don't think I'll be tuning in.

That H&B video was dreadful. The camera work was terrible - out of focus pretty much throughout and failing to show whatever she was pointing to / talking about. Whoever filmed it wants shooting. I certainly hope she didn’t pay them.

The constant finger pointing and tapping was excruciating.

Also, as usual, couldn’t see any mention that it was an advert or paid partnership.

That’s her all over, selling her opinions as facts because of her ‘science background’ (aka social sciences degree and 30yrs in beauty journalism). Trouble is, people take her at face value and believe that what she’s saying is true without any due diligence of their own.

Did anyone watch her Instalive love in last night featuring Jo Good, Middle Aged Minx.

Yes, I posted about it on the Jo Good thread, copied here:

I looked at the Insta live just now, I just let it run and popped in and out if it while working, there's no way I could give it 73 minutes full attention. Jo name checked the usual suspect brands she promotes. I really don't know why Nadine Baggott is such a cheerleader for her, I know it's beneficial to NB to appear on the radio show but surely BBC Radio London would have Nadine on no matter who the presenter is.

I think Jo plays sweet and needy and naive with Nadine, who I think feels a bit sorry for her, which results in MAM getting maximum return - she certainly knows how to play people.. NB strongly suggested Jo do "My 5 fave pieces from the high street" vlogs. I think they spent the Ivy Cafe meeting identifying that the £££ of Jo's fashion might be alienating some of her core viewership, so some form of relatability is needed. Nadine offered Jo use of her videographer. Jo said she should and could do it because all the shops are around the corner but knowing her flaky ways she will do one or two, there'll be no research she'll run in and hold up the first five things she finds in an XS.

Filming must protect you from covid before I get shot down my niece in early 20s & fully vaccinated recently was very sick with covid not in hospital but still sicker than anyone would want to be!

I was wondering if I had missed the ad notice too should definitely be on it obviously an ad for Superdrug and garnier and also pointed out Olay hasn’t she worked with them too?
