There used to be a poster called ‘expatinscotland’ who had sadly lost a child to cancer. However she was often astonishingly rude and aggressive to others on the forum and got away with due to her circumstances. it. Anyone who ever stood up to her was subjected to a pile on for daring to be mean to a ‘bereaved parent’. She was treated with kid gloves and protected by the in crowd because many of them had been through her child’s cancer journey with her and I suppose that created unique bond between them. But in my family I have people who’ve lost children in terrible circumstances and they don’t go round speaking to people like shit on their shoe.

This thread is great 🤣
<gavel> will always be my number 1 Mumsnet hate but also how they are so paranoid about the media using their incredible collective wisdom and making up threads, the snarky comment “when’s your deadline due?” is another one. Piss off!
On the packed lunch theme, I remember seeing a thread a few years ago where someone asked for child snack ideas and someone suggested quails eggs 🥴

There’s currently a thread about more state school pupils getting into oxbridge and some posters are up in arms that they can’t buy their way in, the snobbery is off the scale.

There was a thread about en suites where someone described having a poo in one as the same as doing a dump in the corner of your living room. Mnetters never poo obviously

I've been lurking on tattle for months for the Jack Monroe threads which have made for very interesting reading!

Did anyone see the threads about setting up black MumsNet forum? I think the person behind is was a troll and MumsNet fell for it hook and line. When this new forum was created the first thing she did was post a thread that was "things white people do that annoy you" I mean isn't that racist? There are plenty of good reasons why a black MumsNet forum might be needed but a general thread to moan about white people. I reverse things and if they sound bad then that's a good clue! You rightfully wouldn't get away with creating a thread on MumsNet called "things black people do that annoy you". Her first post was complaining about a racist white family member that said something racist about a Caribbean restaurant. It was so clear this user was a wind up to antagonise but I got called racist for raising my concerns.

I was there a lot back in the day. I was a new mum, no family nearby and Facebook was in its infancy. No twitter or IG then, Mumsnet was basically all there was. Some right cunts there who are still cunting it up on twitter even now. Sad bastards.

I hate when they have FUCK OFF DAILY MAIL at the top of their dull story. Like the mail or anyone else cares.

I posted on there once, many years ago about an argument I had with my husband, and they said I was completely unreasonable, and should be lucky my husband didn't leave me. They all piled onto me to tell me how awful I was. :ROFLMAO: It was just a silly argument.
it’s either your fault and he should leave you or his fault and you should chuck him out 🤣

mums-hornets-nest is hilarious 🤣🤣

Did I not read somewhere that they do allow posters to edit...if they pay a subscription fee and for all of 10 seconds? :ROFLMAO:

There’s currently a thread asking ‘what is the secret to having a husband who adores you’ which isn’t really asking, it was just an excuse for the OP to big herself up and tell everyone how fabulous she is. Some of the replies are vomit inducing.
I think someone has replied that the thread should have been called ‘Aren’t I amazing?’ 🤣

I was turned on in the MNTrolls Reddit sub. Bunch of twats. It was like being on AIBU on MN on acid. Didn’t go back, not even for a nosey.

Also, the transphobia on threads is absolutely CRAZY. They all claim to be feminists, think they need to actually google the definition of feminism before spitting out their hate comments online!!

That’s the comment that finished me off and made me vow never to look on Mumsnet again 😂
It’s not Beefcurtains79 that made the comment, they were just quoting it taking the piss out of the sycophants.

The thread has now been zapped by Mumsnet HQ! Can’t have the queen bee of Mumsnet being portrayed badly now.

Another ‘how dare my neighbours enjoy their garden‘ post. Good job they don’t live near me as everyone seems to have a bar in their garden since covid! And pervy men are going to look through her daughters bedroom window regardless of whether or not there is a bar there, just move bedrooms or put up some blinds, you know like normal people do..🙄 sometimes I wonder if these people live in the real world?
I’ve just been reading that one. 100% troll.
(Though totally worth it for the thicko who is claiming that security cameras breach GDPR! 🤣)

It’s ridiculously London centric, any ‘should I move north’ thread is always met with sneery comments. It’s all flat caps and whippets up here you see 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don't think many of the posters on there live happy lives. If they did, they wouldn't be spending all their time online ripping other women to shreds.

They also probably wouldn't say boo to a goose in RL despite what they say online.

I think a lot of them wanted Christmas 2020 cancelled because they couldn't say no to their relatives and it was easier for them if the government said no meeting with others during Christmas.

I bet that was Crumbs, her of the hotel bedroom pictures and sheeps with fairy lights. If you know you know. There are more fantasists on mn than anywhere else online.
My all time favourite troll. She could probably be my specialist subject on Mastermind.

She’s on her (at least) third name-change now and has reduced the number of (fake) children she has, but her haughty, sneering inaccuracies are so blatant they’re visible from space.

The MN mods know full well that she’s a troll (it’s been proven to them several times), but for some reason they cover for her. No idea why 🤷‍♀️
