Another thing that annoys me is the ‘relocation threads’. So your moving house then? Why use a wanky word for it?

Ha ha! Yes, and on every thread about snoring husbands the majority of posters say 'can't you just sleep in the spare room?' What effing spare room?
Yes, and so many of them have Au Pairs! I don’t know anyone in real life who has one. ‘AIBU my Au Pair made a mess in my kitchen and didn’t clean up’. Well how about you employ a proper Nanny with proper child care qualifications and not a teenager little older than the kids she’s looking after? Oh but then that you’d have to pay them the living wage wouldn’t you and give them ‘pocket money’.

How does this lunchbox sound ladies of mumsnet

Can of coke
Dairylea dunker
Grab bag of salt and vinegar
Share bag of Maltesers

😂😂
My school packed lunch usually consisted of Walls wafer thin ham on white sliced bread, a bag of Walkers crisps and either a Mint or Orange Club. All washed down with a can of Tango(90’s child). I’m sure they’d all want my mum strung up for it.

i don’t understand anyone not allowing workmen (or women) to use their toilets, or not making them a cup of tea! I’ve never made any of them a meal though, but saying that I did make our plasterer a bacon butty because I could see he was trying to catch up on his work by missing lunch. I normally make them the first one or when I’m making myself one and say to help themselves as they go along.

WorraLiberty is another one. Nasty fucker.

They are all so middle class and privileged. In real life I don’t know anyone with a cleaner or who shops Waitrose or who sends their kids to fucking prep school. It’s another world that I don’t live in.

There’s a poster called ‘WorraLiberty’ who is one of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered anywhere on the internet, and yet because she’s part of the ’royalty’ everyone thinks she’s wonderful” because she ‘tells it like it is’. No, she’s a fucking rude bitch who has been really unpleasant to lots of people who were just asking for advice. If you dare call her out on it though you will be on the receiving end of a pile on from other royalty members for daring to stand up to her.

I know a few of you have commented about moving over to the Mumsnet offshoot group on Reddit. Do any of you still post there?

In my opinion, it was great fun at first to openly discuss all the things that MN would have banned us for. It felt secret and naughty, yet we were getting away with it!

However, as someone stated earlier, it all started to get a bit dark and sour. Lots of infighting started and then another offshoot group of the MN offshoot group was set up (Sounds crazy and unbelievable but it is true). Lots of snarling and insults flew between the two groups, which I found hard to understand as surely they were all on the same ‘side‘ ie anti Mumsnet?

Almost everyone was being insulted with childish jokes, some of them very bitter and some absolutely disgraceful, misogynistic barbs thrown from women to other women. Talk of the large size of certain posters’ fannies and accusations of one poster secretly being a man. It was mind boggling.

I also deregged from reddit once all the insults and infighting started. It became Mumsnet on super strong steroids. Mind you, the bulk of those Reddit posters were all banned from Mumsnet and, after a month or so on their Reddit thread, it was very easy to understand why. They were nasty, catty, mean, and downright vile - even to each other! And they were meant to be friends fighting for a common cause, ie anti Mumsnet. No wonder they all got banned from Mumsnet and assembled on Reddit.

And as for that Mango and her acolytes (aka her sock puppets), WTF was that all about? She was deranged. All sensible one minute then fuck fuck fuck fuck the next. I suspect alcohol was involved with that one but she was toxic. There was another super snarky nasty one on there, Duplassie or something. She was downright cruel and seemed to revel in goading the people who she didn’t like. She got banned in the end, thankfully. I don’t think anyone missed her. They certainly didn’t ask about where she had gone, which you would if you genuinely liked someone on a forum.

I mentioned the subscription service to my DH and he said 'isn't your DS on there, she has three DC and CF neighbours', so I told DH I'd phoned DS but her DH answered as she was out walking DD with DD1, DD2 and DS and DS would phone me back when she'd fed DD and put DC to bed.

I don't have a sister btw, just an example of everyday posts on mumsnet. Those acronyms drove me mad.
I always mentally read CF as cunty fucker 😂

How did I forget "Give your head a wobble" Sounds so pathetically infantile

Since reading this thread I’ve been dipping in and out of mumsnet just to see what the threads are like. There’s ALWAYS a bitchy comment/dig in reply to every thread!

Eg - “my daughter wasn’t invited to her cousins party even though they’re best friends, should I mention it to my brother?” cue lots of comments like “why are you trying to push them to be friends” “I would be avoiding you too if you were acting like this” “you seem way too involved it’s a bit weird”

I wonder if there is any man in the world that mumsnet users wouldn’t label as ‘abusive’

every small thing gets labelled as abusive and one must LTB immedi, but if it was the other way around, the woman would be not labelled as such.

The sneering and mocking of the Facebook crafts also annoys and upsets me. Ok, it may not be to your taste and some of it is a bit questionable but there's no need to put it on a thread to take the piss out of it.
I absolutely loathe those threads. There's nothing wrong with crafting, and yeah, maybe wine glasses covered in glitter are a bit tacky but leave people alone. There's usually a nice little community on Facebook craft threads and they'd be unhappy to see their work being mocked by a load of middle-aged, middle-class mummies.

I think there is a lot of piss taking on there, snobbery and trying to outdo each other . However, once when I was was worried about the possibility of Mum nearly dying during a major operation some people were very kind / helpful and supportive. No one was taking the piss or being nasty. It really helped me and I am grateful for their kindness.
I'm not on there now, its too snobby for me.

I was always surprised when BertrandRussell disappeared, she’d turn up on every thread like she was the queen of MN and spout the most obtuse comments. Everyone would then pretend they agreed because no one dared not.
BertrandRussell was still there until fairly recently. Whenever a thread appeared about ghosts or anything paranormal she would always appear to try and debunk everything, and was so rude and patronising about it. Even when they were just fun ghost stories that weren’t even meant to be taken seriously she’d have to come a long and piss on everyone’s fun. Such a miserable fucker.

I gave mumsnet £50 as I was worried about them closing down as so many use them for support. I had no idea just how much money they made because they run it like its a small cottage company or charity struggling to get by as it runs so badly and keeps getting hacked. Anyway I got baned last week for talking about meghan markle. I didn't say anything bad more that the language used was like finding freedom and I don't know what to believe. I thought there was a glitch with the site when I couldn't login, then no password reset was being sent and they've wiped my account without even an email after taking my £50. And mumsnet premium is a load of tosh, nothing premium about it. I wouldn't trust that site again.
Nothing but cunts, quite frankly.

Welcome, you’ll love it here.

Do anyone of them get on with their neighbours? And why do so many of them have a problem with their neighbours enjoying their gardens in the summer? God forbid one of them should light a barbecue on a sunny day!

Someone here said they thought she was MN staff, I think that's a fairly good shout. A thread like that would get picked up by the tabloids and generate many many clicks. Whoever they are they're definitely a fantasist, its exhausting just reading it.

Pooing in the en-suite is the same as doing it in the corner of your living room according to mumsnet. Don’t even get started on outsiders using your loo
