There's a thread about someone giving their 13 year old a scratch card as laugh, and duck ME some of the responses.
The way some of those fannies are going on you’d think she’d given her kid a crack pipe and the phone number of the local dealer.

OP - my children both bought houses aged 23. I think that’s really unusual and they’ve done really well. AMA

Another inheritance one but - plot twist - the mother isn't even dead yet.
AIBU to ask if I could contest my mother’s will?

Scavengers! Wow. How much do you need to hate a person to be openly angling for a pound of flesh like that. I hope the mother rewrites the will and cuts her out entirely.

I know, it's unbelievable. She's so entitled, and she hasn't considered the possibility of care home fees using up 'her' inheritance, or the fact her mother might leave the lot to the Cat's Protection League. She has poor health and a disabled child, and her brother is wealthy anyway - and therefore the money is hers by right.

Home Bargains are buying Denby Pottery. Mumsnetters better not find out because it’s one of their brands along with Diptique and Toast. Next, Primark to buy Boden 😂😂😂
Well I’m pleased about this! I love home bargains and my plates are from Denby and I was sad it’d be harder to replace when I break one. I was about to start buying extras on eBay like a mad woman.

I'm retraining to be a therapist, I'm going to be inundated when MNers kids grow up. (Copied part of the OP Because it's too long to screenshot. It's in the parties/celebrations section of Mumsnet that exists for some reason known only to Justine. The screenshot is literally the first reply)

“I’m never invited to parties, no one cares about me”

As the title says those were the words that came from my 8 yr old DS last night, literally broke my heart.

They’re such bleeps. I imagine that poster knows that it’s a part of life as she also isn’t well liked.

More benefit bashing - although the delightful OP insists it's NOT because she approves of SOME poors outside of her vision getting 'free money'. Her EX FRIEND, highlighted, gets HUGE amounts of money due to his brain damage and mental health issues, caused by DRUGS. I'd like to break this down a little. Someone who has spent many years numbing with drugs, is more than likely a very sad and damaged individual who possibly couldn't access the help needed early enough. He appears to have taken so much that he has damaged his brain. I mean, he will absolutely be living the life of Riley, unable, apparently, to do basic tasks himself, needing care and support. This ..person moaning about him has had to add she is, in fact a Band 8a NHS worker who does OVERTIME. She'll be getting a huge amount mor than this poor fellow and also has things like oh, I dunno, security, pensions , oh and boring old health. It's just so unpleasant. People do not suddenly become addicted to drugs, have psychotic breakdown and get 'thousands' a month for a bleeping laugh. Yuk yuk yuk

A tambourine, set of Russian stacking dolls and a newborn doll.

What sort of a bleeping idiotic question is this? Just why would you even ask this?

A dried olive and a glass of water, obvs. I'm sorry - are you obese?
A whole olive?! Wow, you must have a huge family. I do hope you're not one of those lazy benefits claimants like most people with more than two children *tinkly laugh*

I've just been reading that. Her level of ignorance is astonishing. I'm embarrassed for her. Imagine not only having those thoughts, but typing them down and submitting them on an open forum, for the world to read?
