Ooh those calorie counting bores over on Mumsnet will tear you a new one for suggesting that!

I'm not sure I believe the sad sack who claims never to eat biscuits, sweets or cake (apart from a small slice of cake on her birthday) and calorie counts every single meal, all year round. Then there's another one panicking at going for a meal where the calorie count is 1000 per meal, and someone has advised her to order a starter and a side salad and gorge on a tub of cottage cheese before she goes. Surely to God the occasional dinner out is okay? Just cut down a bit before and after and do a bit of extra running/weights/swimming perhaps? I'm so glad my life isn't ruled by my dress size. Oh to any teeny tiny Mumsnetters lurking, I'm not a gigantic Fatty McFatterson either.
