Just a little helpful thing ,I always do floaters it takes a few flushes to get shut of them but if you use washing up liquid the cheap one squirt it on the buggers and then they go no problem,hope this helps lots of us.

How do these 36 hour fasters manage to work and look after their children? Don't their nearest and dearest tell them they are being daft? If I went 36 hours without food, I'm not sure I'd be safe to drive, let alone put in a 12 hour shift, after dropping the kids off at school and preschool.

I know I've said this before BUT my parents were born and brought up in a country where many genuinely do not have food to eat, I've spent much time there over the years - and these 36 hour fast posts make me so angry.

And for people who claim not to eat they all think and talk about food a lot.

If I didn't eat for 36 hours I wouldn't be able to do anything but think and talk about food! I'd be hallucinating food!

Maybe this is why all the MNers in peri have crumbling bones and melting muscles, because they never nourish themselves!

Its a bank holiday weekend here in Ireland, Im getting over a horrible chest infection so said duck it had chippy tea and am on a bottle of Asda's finest Cava. I cannot compute how many calories Ive ingested today.

Feel like I over share however I had botox a couple of weeks ago and got a review tomorrow just for them to check everything is ok. I tell u I am shook at how quickly it worked but also no matter how hard I try I cannot raise my eyebrows or crease my forehead. Will just have to do the head tilt in style of mumsnutter to show sarcasm.

Does it not feel frustrating not being able to raise your eyebrows? It isn't something I do often, but I know if it was taken away from me, I would get annoyed at not being able to do it.

You aren't kidding @cowtastrophe wins. Mr Mice and I have spent the last week clearing up after a flood due to a leak from the central heating (I almost went through the "dog room" ceiling) only to find a downstairs (teeny-tiny) leak in the kitchen today. Long story short - bleeping cowboy central heating engineer (Homeserve was fab 0 I would recommend them to anyone!).

There's so much water in this pigging house I thought we must live in Atlantis.

I don't think I'd ever be brave enough to have botox, or indeed any other type of intervention (is that the word?) I'm resigned to my face - and indeed my fate - now. Being 65 has its advantages...
