True. When I was married to a soldier, we moved around regularly so I wanted a job I could do anywhere - I trained as a hairdresser and you do need a good level of education, maths; you're mixing chemicals on a daily basis etc. I once got told 'you're wasting your education' by another officers wife and I, smart Alec that I am, smugly turned to her and said 'I'm assuming you can explain a polypeptide chain to me, then?'.I don't know how to become a hairdresser so I could be wrong but I thought hairdressers were quite highly educated. Isn't it about 2 years to become qualified plus other courses to go higher up or learn certain things to specialise it? They use chemicals, mix chemicals, need to know about skin conditions and allergies, the actual cuts, what equipment to use etc customer service skills, quite a lot of hairdressers are self-employed and that's a whole other load of skills they need. So I always assumed hairdressers were intelligent, they're certainly intelligent in a way I'm not because I wouldn't know where to start doing someone's hair unless I specialised in making people bald.
Because she's a rich middle class fatty.I'm actually baffled that the whole premise of that thread is "I'm fat myself so I take them, I know I'm very lucky to be able to afford them and not everyone can, but why aren't you all buying them??"
Like did they not even think through their rage bait attempt for more than a second to realise that makes absolutely no sense and they've answered their own question in their post? A lot of people can't afford it, and you're a fatty anyway so what makes you so morally superior![]()
My DH originally bought our house with his ex wife. At first I wanted to move but actually it’s walking distance to a pub, Greggs, chippy and an Indian restaurant and a short drive from every other take away/coffee shop you could think of. Redecorating will do.She'd go into septic shock if she stayed with me. I live round the corner from the local chippy and when the wind is blowing the right way I can smell them cooking. That's normally when I declare I'm not cooking tea and send him over for a takeaway.
I know im a terrible wife.
AIBU - I get paid by the penis when I iron them and I was always satisfied by that, it didn’t make me rich but DH (45) and I had a comfortable life living in an ex council in a place that was a bit rough but is now gentrifying and it’s really lovely. How much does it pay though? Is it per wrinkle or per penis?
I rang scaffolders and told them some dodgy looking blokes were looking at the scaffolding and saying something about tools and they were there in less than half an hour.A bit late, but the conversation about scaffolders using your house for storing all that scaffolding makes me want to praise my friend.
Her HA house had some roof work done and after a month or so of pleading with them to take it away, she sawed through one of the pipes blocking her door and also ended up with some very nice planed shelves.
No one said a word.
(do they really wee in the gutters?)
