“I know I told him though” - she makes it sound like she reminded him to take the bins out, rather than telling him he had a daughter. Surely that conversation would stand out in your memory??
I know!! Such a throw away comment about it, what the duck 😂

Thread in AIBU. I haven't read the whole thing but so far I'm up to someone whose children eat 8 portions of fruit and vegetables a day. I'm hoping for double digits though -
I've just noticed that when I have kids round for play dates that loads of them will not eat any fruit or veg snacks. I understand not everyone will like everything but there are so many kids who will refuse apples, strawberries, grapes and I just find it mad. None of these kids have AFRID or any other needs. They always ask for sweets and chocolate which is fine and I don't mind giving them some but AIBU to think that most kids don't really eat any fruit or veg?

I took my four month old baby to my graduation - and carried him across the stage with me. The chancellor patted him on the head

I didn’t go to my own graduation - they’d all have been going NC with me for that.
Me neither. I felt, quite rightly, that my time would be better spent smoking a tit load of weed on a beach in Mexico, so that is what I did.

Similar, I was in Spain making as many new male friends as I could.

"Which yoghurt do you recommend?"
"You should make your own yoghurt."

"Any good peanut butter?"
"Make your own peanut butter."

What did she say?!
She mentioned before that the dad of her daughter had possibly done something to one of her other kids, tripped him up or smacked him. I can't remember fully but she only just remembered after they got in touch.
Since they got in touch it's not going well. It appears he's a controlling weirdo and she's scratching her head to how this has all happened.

I think the baptism one is a troll. The first post is all I’m so meek and mild. But progresses within an hour to phoning the office to complain to the Priest.

Also MN is rabidly anti-Catholic. So a catholic mother in law thread is prime trolling material.

Weird paralysis woman on the pregnancy board has had her thread pulled because people were questioning her as it didn't make sense. I think she is seriously mentally unwell.

I was going to go on this thread and say 'people who don't know the difference between your and you're', but then I opened it and it's a misery olympics of people trying to outdo each other with all their serious problems so I thought better of it

Definite cause to LTB! 😉
I am married to a Southern one, he loves stotties and found a place that will post stotties anywhere in the UK-redeemed himself!
He has drawn the line at chips and gravy and will not even entertain the idea of mushy peas.

Sorry I'm 14 pages behind so this might have been asked and answered but what is the place the delivers stotties?

My husband moved from NE to be with me in Scotland and he always cries about his precious stotties. One time, we went into Morrisons and one of the bread labels had stotties, he was beaming with joy and excitement at getting his mouth around one again only to be disappointed when he asked where the were and a worker told him "we don't have them here, it's regional" 😅.

I've got no arms and no legs and my carer dropped dead while I was in the bath so I'm slowly drowning and can't rescue myself.

Omg you're so privileged, I only wish I could drown but I haven't got a HEAD. Be careful about where you post about your privileged life because you don't know if the person who reads it has it worse. Count your blessings and #bekind.
