This probably sounds really sterotypical and judgemental and I'm a terrible person, but this post does not sound like an 80 year old wrote it. Something seems off to me

Sorry I'm 14 pages behind so this might have been asked and answered but what is the place the delivers stotties?

My husband moved from NE to be with me in Scotland and he always cries about his precious stotties. One time, we went into Morrisons and one of the bread labels had stotties, he was beaming with joy and excitement at getting his mouth around one again only to be disappointed when he asked where the were and a worker told him "we don't have them here, it's regional" 😅
Hopefully you can get them delivered

It may depend where in Scotland you are but I hope you are able to get some for your husband.

We need a petition to make stotties available in all Greggs!

Just overheard a very MN conversation in work canteen.
One saying her DD is sooooooo tiny that small sizes are too big for her.
The other took 1 mouthful of lunch and said it was too filling.
They walk amongst us 😁

Oh I like these - usually followed up by the bewildered fuckwit asking if anyone , anyone, anyone spends less than £500/week on groceries.

I was in M&S food hall yesterday (managed to sneak in as a large northern tradfam gammonista) and actually called over my hollow-legged rugby-playing sons to snigger and gawp at the £14 tins of tuna. I placed a tin in each child’s hand and was all “feel it! Feel it! It weighs nothing*”.

£14 for a tin of tuna. I’m sure it was lovely but… 😬

*weight reference : 1 tin of £14 tuna weighs approx half a Gregg’s steak bake or 120 duty free B&H from DTUI to Benidorm.
I've never seen £14 tuna! What kind of tuna is it?!

I've never had a stottie!

I'm in Newcastle soon. Where is the best place to try one please?

I thought paying over £5 for Tuna in Sainsburys last year was too much. I’d been advised to get tuna in olive oil as it was good for the cat’s fur, she had to make do with the cheap stuff.

I like looking at pictures on the internet of fancy cans of tuna (because i'm a bleeping weirdo that procrastinates a lot!) but would never buy one because surely tuna is tuna, it's in the sea and it's not like cows where you can farm it to be a nice fancy steak, like it's just the luck of the draw of what you catch!

That would be 20 euro here and I would expect it to swim to my house and make itself useful for 20 quid.

“It has a shelf life of 3 days”. Not in my house it wouldn’t. I’d be lucky to get it home without eating ( guzzling? ) most of it.

I am not a Newcastle native but I prefer the Greggs stotties.
I think most bakeries have stotties as standard.
Maybe a kind Tattler who is native can help?
