On a thread about obese children, classic MN

gianfrancogorgonzola · Today 17:39

Not a scrap of large on either of mine, DD17 is super tall and skinny and DS15 solid muscle. Varies wildly by demographic as others have said, also familial habits around activity and food.

By demographic you just know she means povvo northerners....
Omg I very nearly copy and pasted the exact quote. Could it be a tattler though? A double bluff surely?!

The train picnic thread is very funny. Apparently in standard you only get snacks, i wouldn't class a roll and bacon or sausage as a snack... Then there's the fact anyone can take any food on a train that isn't a snack. I've had fish and chips, burger king etc etc. I didn't realise we were ONLY supposed to have snacks in the poor section 😂 😂

And then this from OP. She believes her preferences trump others but others don't trump hers 😂.

Voting for "Are you always this selfish?" As next thread title!

Maybe it's because I live in a commuter town, but they don't be serving meals in first class on trains here, it's not the orient express, it's just a bigger seat!

My dad froze to death. Wonder how many arguments I could shut down on MN with that one? 🤔

I think she means the catalogues or whatever it is where she bought things from.

I am hating all the people who use ChatGPT to provide answers on there. Most of the time it's utter rubbish - the person on there who posted a whole bloody page of calculations made me confused and I went to a Russell Group uni!

I'm also feeling incredibly bad about Shithole - having seen what she uncovered about her childhood I can understand why she is like she is.
I wish there was more help available for people, but there are thousands of people like her who just don't meet the incredibly tough criteria to qualify for assistance in any form these days.
What did she find out about her childhood?

Oh no, I’m 36 and have just bought some Birkinstocks. I didn’t realised my weak old legs wouldn’t be able to carry them 😔

That’s perfect! You could use it every time someone says “it’s a beautiful day” and you’ve got at least 2 months to toss it like a grenade at anyone complaining “it’s too hot to sleep”.

My dad died in a road accident when I was 2 and my mum.brought me up alone. This makes me a single parent feckless child as well! That's a conundrum for them...very sad but also a one parent family cav

Shithole let slip that she reads comments on here the other day, she edited the post to remove it, it was pointed out to her it still shows she argued it and got it removed by MN.

Apparently, she wasn’t happy that we felt sorry for her children. And after reading her posts on her childhood, she shares waaay too much, those are things she really needs a therapist to help her through, not MN.

We could start my dad died of... thread.
Mine had a stroke I'm afraid so nothing attention grabbing :)
My dad died of cancer when I was 5 and he was 35. I win Dead Dad Bingo!
I do have the most amazing stepdad though, he wins dad of the year every year.
